The game is plenty difficult... the key difference is that YOU get to choose the level of difficulty rather than having PD *force* it on you. It's quite obvious that PD chose to dumb down the AI for the express purpose of reaching a wider audience, while still allowing someone who wants more competition to create it.

Granted, the tools to create competitive races could be *drastically* improved.

I just metioned the Formula races that are NOT really difficult. GT4 still has some crazy difficult racing in it, like those insane driving missions, the rallying is also very tough. Racing in the ring with LMP cars, or trying to acquire all golds from the license tests.
 
U are rite the gt3 races were much harder than gt4 as. in gt3 i had to qualify for like 30 min so i can get each turn perfectly. gt4 is so much easier than gt3.
 
all the cars were different which was cool. i hate the formula gt. pd makes crappy cars. i'm starting to think they couldnt even make cars for jordan or minardi.
 
Yea true dat... i was really hoping for some real F1 names and i wanted to drive the ferrari.

by the way the F1 race today was good but i wish Ferrari would get it together.
 
Ferrari HAVE got it together. It's just that everyone else has got it MORE together than Ferrari. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm still pissed that you can't change tire types on the F1s... I'd like to actually try to put RHs on my Formula GT and simulate the current F1 season... no tire changes... with a reasonably good chance of coming in something better than last.
