This may be off topic, but I am experiencing lagging while racing online. It seems to happen when I use a Turtle Beach wireless headset. Could this be the problem, and are there any remedies? My signal strenth is 100%. I've re-booted the wireless modem, cleared the cache, shutdown the PS and powered back up. Thanks for any help.

Sometimes its not your signal that causes lag, sometimes its a result of other peoples poor connection. I have a pretty poor connection and don't race online as a result, it causes too many problems for other people.
Other sources of interference can come from having other computers on your network using up the bandwidth (streaming/uploading/downloading), the strength of your internet connection and quality of router can also be a cause in some cases, its also important to remember that the servers are a little bit unreliable at the moment.

If you're using wifi and a bluetooth headset, most likely you'll get lag as they both cause interference with each other. If you are not using wifi, the problem could be as @DolHaus explained.

Really?.. Is that what I constantly get a weird choppy sound when using bluetooth and wireless? sounds like a bad drive threw box.. He..We...come...T...o... Ca...We...He...p...Y...ou.. Its terrible trying too understand him when we shoot the breeze while racing.

Ya, they use the same band.

If it only happens when you use the headset, it means your router and the headset are on the same wifi channel. Change the router's channel and the problem should be fixed.
