Glad to hear that someone else decided to take the plunge!

Have you gotten to the "Ravine of no return" level yet? After about 10 tries I finally completed it and got to within seconds of silver. Pretty hard level, but flying slowly along the water with the huge spot lights was awesome making it challenging but very rewarding. 👍

I just finished the mission where you get the new dragon and have to find the water before you die in the desert upon which you have to kill the giant spider wasp. Started the next mission after that but shut it off. Ravine of No Return was really cool, it was a fun level. Still, sometimes the controls get frustrating when it doesn't respond when you want to...but I'm getting better at it.

I plan on re-doing the wasp level today as I made the mistake of dying 1 too many times for silver, but still completing the mission 5 minutes under the required time. Took me a life or two to finally realize how to avoid the wasp's attack, but after realizing how, destroyed it with no problem.

One thing I'm finding though is I get into the game waaaaaaaaaay too much to be playing it at 8 am when I get home from work, but when everyone else is still sleeping. As soon as I have to rip something apart (like the wasps back) or pull something over (like the huge beasts) I'm finding myself shaking the control and screaming "encouraging words" at the dragon as if I'm really riding it.

HERE is an interesting interview with Factor 5 President the Director of Lair, Julian Eggebrecht, during TGS 07 where he discusses game development for the PS3 and responds to the harsh criticisms of the SIXAXIS motion control and the difficult gameplay.
