The 350 GTV featured a straightforward steel square-section chassis, with all-round independent suspension. The engine Bizzarrini had designed was equally sophisticated, sporting twin overhead camshafts. Although Ferruccio Lamborghini had specifically instructed Bizzarrini to design a road car engine, the Italian engineer simply could not help himself and during the first test run, the 3.5 litre V12 produced a staggering 350 bhp. It was mated to a five-speed gearbox supplied by ZF.

Haha, yeah, Mr Lamborghini had a vision but almost none of cars followed it. He was never interested in racing only wished to produce good driver's street cars. However, every other person who worked in the Italian auto industry didn't seem to share this vision!

Am I the only one who likes the Lamborghini GT cars from the 60's more than their overdesigned, attention seeking and rather ugly poser cars of today?

There may be some who may agree with you, but, personally, I do like the designs of the old and the new. :)

Old=Curves 👍
New=Abundance of Sharp Angles 👍

I like both style cues :D
