The global reveal for the much anticipated Lamborghini Huracan Spyder has just happened at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Costing £205,000, it will go on sale from next spring and will come with a 5.2L V10 engine producing 602BHP, a 0-60MPH time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 202MPH.
To answer the question regarding how quick is the roof folding, well Lamborghini have said that the roof will be able to fold in less than 17 seconds and at up to 30mph. Changes to this model include an engine start stop system which will also be included in all the 2016 Huracan coupe models.
Design changes include air intakes above the wheels and new buttresses behind the seats. Lamborghini also say that the Spyder’s lines were designed to be completely different from the coupe. The interior is the same with an addition of an electrically operated rear screen.
