Hi
I asked this question for GT5 in PS3 and the answer was No.
If 2 players have 2 xbox consoles and 2 monitors and a router could they play Forza Horizon against each other without internet each player using his own monitor(not split screen)?

Hi, I'm not 100% sure but I believe on XBox this is called System Link, I had a quick search around and from what I can tell you can't system link on this game.

Apologies if I'm wrong about this, I can't try it for myself as I only have 1 XBox.

I know that all new games require internet may be to check if the game is illegal copy but what I'm asking about is while playing 1v1 if it also requires internet then this is a problem for me and many people who live in poor countries with limited slow internet.

Only Forza Motorsport 1 & 2 support System Link. It's missing in FM3 and later titles :irked:.

^ What drivatar said. LAN play is pretty much extinct on consoles.

What about Dirt3 does it also require internet or it supports LAN mode?
Dirt 2 supports LAN mode for sure...

Dirt 3 supports System Link/LAN. Most or maybe all racing games from Codemasters do :). No internet or XBL Gold required.

Great! what about the wheel does logitech G27 works on Dirt 3 ?

^ Don't bother with the converter for 360 either, I hear it isn't worth it.

Only on PS3. Impossible on Xbox360.

You explained everything to me thank you very much.:)

So if I have 2 of PS3 with LAN network + 2 montiors + G27 wheel +2 Dirt 3 CDs everything should work fine right ?

Yes, right. Make sure both systems have the same game updates, else they could be incompatible.

I set up eveything but I observed I see the second player as a ghost I cannot hit him? Is there any way to fix that?
