Ive asked Mr Gangi to question Codemasters (upcoming interview with them)about that and Multiscreen Support for Codies games like FM 3 and GT5 offer.

This could change. The current situation seems strange because LAN is supported on Xbox360 and PC:

Can I play all modes over LAN/System Link?
You can play multiplayer over LAN/System Link on Xbox 360 and PC, more news about this on PS3 will be available soon.
