So far I have managed to get the lancer to drift and set it up in its own unique drift setup but I think it needs its own style of drifting because eveytime I use my style for the fr cars it justs strafe to the outside of the corner and into the dirt

any ideas anyone

uhhhhhhh
Well......... the Lancer IS a AWD car..... and AWD drifting is VEEERY different from FR drifitng..
but you should know that theres a search function!!!

have you tried putting most of the power to the rear wheels? the stock VCD setting is usually front = rear on Lancers.

...and sorry to see you're leaving. what's that all about?

I have tried putting all the power to the rear wheels but that just makes the drift evenless controllable I am using the active yaw control for the front wheels and and i have set the variable power control thing so that more power goes to the front. As I said before the car can drift its just later in the drift the car slides to the outside of the corner I need to use a different style of drifting

Oh and the reason why I am leaving is just because I don't use gtplanet as much as I used to so I am just gonna leave it plus I think some guys round here don't like me

I dont like Asher!
He sucks :D

Mind you I don't have a clue when it comes to 4wd drifting either. FF FR MR I have no trouble with, but I havent got a bloody clue with the 4wd.

*Stunners Keeno*

4wd drift is controlled entirely by the angle you ender the corner and how you break, exit speeds are increased by taking advantage of the inherent understeer and starting the acceleration at an early point.

in otherwords act as if you were trying to spin out a rwd car and you will do fine. The sideways motion is then advantagious to your drift rather than a hindrance
