Lap Invalidation Bug

Doing some testing at Nurburgring GP/D and I went to enter the pits and it invalidated the next lap. WTF? Why would entering pit lane invalidate a lap? I mean, sure, it means a slow lap, but, it doesn't invalidate it.

It has always done that on every track when tire wear and fuel consumption is not enabled and you are in time trial practice mode. It is intentional.

It did that in GT5P as well. It's not a bug.
