Lap shown in replay theatre is not the same as the lap I saved

I saved a Ghost Replay from a hotlap session, and when I go to open the file in the replay theatre, I see it listed with the time I did in the top-right corner of the file selection box.

When I open the file in the replay theatre though, the lap shown is not the same; it looks to be the lap before my fast lap from the same session. Opening the same file in Data Logger gives me the data log of the correct lap, but the replay (and therefore the splits) are one lap before.

Is this a known issue? I searched, but didn't find anything about this.

The time shown as 'best lap' in the upper right while watching the replay is whatever your previous best lap was. The time listed when you are looking through your replays in the menu is the time for the recorded lap. Are you sure you aren't confusing those? I've never had this happen.

Sorry, I may not have been very clear about where my "actual" best lap time is shown. I see my actual fast time in the Library list. The last file I saved shows Free Run (Best Lap Replay), track and car on the left, the lap time top right, and the date and time bottom right. These are all correct.

The fast lap was on lap 8 - once I'd completed lap 8 and messed up turn 1 of lap 9 I decided to save up and compare splits, so I saved the ghost replay. When I play it in the theatre, the on-screen data in the replay shows lap 7, and the live timing monitor shows the splits and time for lap 7. It also shows Best Lap (which way my previous best, before completing lap 8), which is actually faster than the lap it's showing (lap 7). The splits add up to my lap 7 time.

I'm wondering if not having completed lap 9, and therefore not having actually seen my lap 8 ghost in the session may have something to do with it. I've had a look back through other hot lap replays, and it's happened there, too. I've completed my fast lap and then stopped before completing the next lap, and the replay saved is different to the lap I thought I was saving.

Simply put, the time listed in the replays menu is not the time for the recorded lap unless looking at it in the data logger.

Never mind :ouch:

Did a little testing and spotted that the split times actually change as the replay plays through each sector. :ouch:

Did I mention :ouch:?
