Lap times

Is there a way to view and/or save ALL of the lap times I have set for all of my cars on a certain track? I would like a way to compare my cars lap times on my regualr test track (high speed ring, the ring, and rome) but only the top say 10 or 15 currently show up which are all taken up by me fine tuning my higher end cars. I would still like to see where, for example, my GTi compares to my Bora/Jetta. I know it sounds stupid but for me comparing cars I have driven is half the fun in the game.

You either need to keep laptimes recorded on a separate document (spreadsheet, notepad, etc), delete the lapboard and redo the tests again or save the ghost laps to check (and directly compare perfomance live) laptimes.

Not in game there aren't. I hate that you cant delete specific entries on the in game board either, if you set two lap times with a single car at diffrent times, it shows both times taking up two spots, which is useful for tuning however I want the ability to delete a single entry rather than wipe the whole 10.

I keep my times on Microsoft Excel, and on a public leaderbaord, at

Thanks for the responses. I think it is strange that we have this extensive data logger and yet we cannot log specific data. I even tried doing arcade modetime trials but it meshes the track times with your aspec times as well. Excel here I come.

This is one of my biggest complaints about this game. There's just no detailed records of what you've done. Forza 3 keeps track of everything you do with every car the entire time you play the game, and it's all online so it can be compared with people on your friends list or people around the world.

Why cant Kaz just play that game and steal some of the things that it does better? All it would do is improve his own game greatly. Too much pride I guess. Forza does it, so he doesnt think its important.

me too want to be able to delete some unnecessary lap times.
e.g. if i used a fast car that used up to 3 slot on that track, yet i want to keep my slower favourite car on the board,i want to delete some lap times by other car i used to play around the track :indiff:
is this already being adressed to PD in Feedback section?

I was thinking about this just earlier today. It would help a lot if only we had online leaderboards like GT5 Prologue had.

First of all guys wow my login still works after 5 years. lol. but i wouldnt give Forza too much credit for tracking the cars you use. It has many flaws in its system too.

Unfortunately im a traitor since i am now a Forza player but i hope you will listen to what i have to say anyway.

Forza's car logging system leads alot to be desired since it lacks local leaderboards! With no internet you have no way to keep track of any of your laptimes! you still get a ghost but its just not the same.
On the otherhand it does log what you do in each car, ie parts value, races raced, wins, podiums and distance driven but thats about it. far more detail could have been put into this section but they didnt.
And finaly i miss the good old save/load ghost option in the menu from gt3/4. surely this would be a good idea in both games (dont own gt5 so dont know if u can still do it). this would mean you could send a friend a ghost.

The real question is tho, when will everybody realise that Turn10 & Polyphony Digital shoud team up and make an uber driving simulation with all the best parts from both games. i mean personally while gt5 is very pretty in my opinion the graphics are less important, i means i would probably go back to gt4 graphics if the game engine was a replica of our physics system (ie perfect physics in every way). And i now live for online racing because the AI in forza is way too easy and online is the only place to get a close race.

Anyway sorry for the rant guys but i thought id explain about forza
