Last Post Update Failure

In this thread, I made a post at 5:10pm GMT. However, halfway through adding the post, something happened, and I got a "Zero-sized reply" error from my proxy server. I then clicked "Back", and then "Submit" again, and got a "This is a duplicate post" warning.

I went back into the thread, and there was my post all good and nice. But when I went to the Rumble Strip forum listing, it still showed the last post as being by Toyomatt at 4:43pm GMT.

No biggie, just thought you might like to know...
 
In Firefox a few minutes ago I recieved a "could not connect to gtplanet.net" that usually appears when the server is down.
 
Any chance that could have been your proxy server showing you an old version of the Rumble Strip?

It's usually quite good at fetching the most up to date file, and I did a CTRL-F5 to force a re-load at the local side.

So, I think it's unlikely that the proxy was showing a cached version of the page, but I can't say for sure.
