My god quit bitchin. Either buy the dlc or don't.

Amazing how people lick PD's *** for dlc a year after release but if T10 releases dlc "too soon" then the Internet is set ablaze.

No one made you spend $400 on one game.

T10 did not make FM4 solely for you. Regardless of how special you think you are.

T10 did not have to hand out pre-order incentives.

T10 did not have to offer them as dlc. At all.

Are you really complaining that they released them too soon?

Where some of you get this mentality of entitlement is beyond me.

Kinda bummed that you can't swap a K20 into the CRZ (or any swap for that matter) but I still enjoy it. Subaru is nice too. Looks funny without the rear wing. Mini Clubman is nice to drive as well. It's quicker than I thought it would be. I didn't buy the 1M as I have zero interest in it.
 
The more I spend on content for DLC means I have less interest in dropping £40 on another game, so it's swings and roundabouts for me. I'll gladly buy any content offered if it means cars I don't already have. I'll never begrudge T10 extra money for the thousands of hours fun their games have provided me.

Heck, I've spent about £80 on Forza DLC on the last three titles and I'd spend that on two nights out when I was a drinker and what have I to show for that outlay? Nothing.

Didn't the fine print say 6 DLC packs come with the season pass? I don't recall saying "Any and everything Forza comes with the season pass". Now when they start talking about Forza 5 and you still haven't received your 6 DLC packs then you'll have reason to make this post.

I was lead to believe that I was buying DLC packs in advance at a discounted price, if I can't use it, I was mislead. I understand there will be plenty of offers in the future to be downloaded, but what if they're rubbish? I like the vehicles in this pack.

You still get your six packs. And your situation is no different to when you purchased the season pass. i.e you didn't know if the packs included would be rubbish.

These cars were released before the season pass started, should you have wanted them there were options available to get half. Had you of done that, you would not be asking for these launch cars to take the place of one of your six slots because you would have been short-changed 5 cars. That's the reason you can't include this pack in your season pass, another reason is T10/MS decide what packs are included, there was never an option to pick-and-choose.

This is awesome that T10 released all these cars to everyone. I wanted the Subaru Impreza but didnt want to pre-order from Amazon. So now I can finally have that car! :) 👍

They sold your code on ebay while sending you and a few others around in circles. If they haven't sold it yet, they will struggle to now.

i cant believe all the negative feedback on the sites i go to about dlc cars each month...

for years everybody complained about the lack of dlc and now with turn 10 putting out 10 cars a month plus the pre-order acd pre-release cars people are still finding something to bitch about...

The reason we're upset is the fact that in order for people who bought the LCE to get the rest of the preorder cars, we would either have to buy the whole pack and basically be again buying the 5/6 cars we have already, or we buy the 4 or 5 preorder cars and end up paying more than the cost of the entire pack. This is basically why we wish they would have just either split the pack up into preorder/extra pack and sold each separate, given the preorders to LCE buyers free (less likely), or lessened the price of the individual cars to something closer to 100 MSP. Then everyone would be a winner.
 
Moving on to the actual pack....

The Tesla is a very strange car. No engine sound + no shifting + instant torque = one very little unique car.

But damn, it's faster than I thought and handles well. I'm gonna buy one and upgrade it to A600.
 
Ignoring all the tears in here, I went and purchesed the 1M and the '11 STi, the only two cars I actually cared about and damn, they're lovely. Not the most efficient way to spend some MS Points, but I had 450 or so on my account, anyways, so, why not :lol:

I'm so GD cheap but I DO want that 1M just from the hype. I wish we could test drive them. Not to worried about the STi. Enough of those cars in the game for me. But I DO want that 1M. I should drop the MS points on it. I haven't reached 50 level on any manufacturer yet but I'm the closest in BMW. A new BMW would be fun. If people here would have a one-off 1M (no pun) race organized I'd grab it in a heart beat. hint hint.

Can i confirm that for 1000 gamer points i pay £8.50......

so each 'point' cost me / us 0.0085p.....

so for the Alfa i paid £1.36p

Meh......if thats a sign of Big bad Corp ripping off poor little consumer....then its a weak one and one frankly i couldn't give a t0ss for...

When we live in a society where people will pay £3 for a rubbish burger from McD******s, or £1.39p per litre of petrol in the UK, or £7 + for 20 fags.........

I'd say it represents good value for me.....certainly not going to worry too much about paying that for a virtual car in a game i enjoy...

personally if i was at all worried about paying out £1.36 for a virtual car in a game, no offence but if i was struggling to cope with spending that then i'd question why i was playing games in the first place and not doing some kind of job to earn some money...

Theres much worse examples of greedy capitalists at work..... believe me, i dont think Michael Moore will be quickly making a film about this.... put it that way...

Cheap? Nah just trying to get a deal since I already own 6 of the 10 cars! But hey, since I already have the Impreza, guess I'll just buy the 1M and be done with the whole deal.

A pack of fags over here is like 12 bucks in NY in the wrong places. In jersey those fags are about 9 bucks. I think I'm going to quit and go straight. :sly:
Seriously I really gotta quit smoking man. It's getting expensive as hell and of course the obvious. I might as well be buying weed at these prices.

First time I heard a guy from the UK tell me and some friends "I am going outside to suck down a fag" I about died. :D

Totally off topic, but t.o. I was smoking a pack a day, and then went with a custom E-Cig. I spend about 10 bucks a month on juice for it now.

Dude that car is one of my favourite cars. Drivin it since launch LCE, try it on fujima kaido it's like a whole other experience with that car. 👍
 
So far ive bought the CRZ, STI, RGT8, SC300 and JCW Mini. Only drove the CRZ though, once i got in it i got stuck. I love the car and for fwd it handles quite well. Im in the processes of tuning it for Bclass. Its not to fast on the straights but it handles great.
 
LCE owners to me seem to be an afterthought. Happened with FM3 when VIP was made available to all via DLC, happened again with the FM3-UC and exclusive cars and is happening now with the option to buy the whole pack or buy cars separately, where we can't buy only the preorder cars as a pack. I was already on the fence about being an LCE buyer for FM4 but now I'm almost certain that if FM5 has an LCE I won't be doing LCE, will just get the normal version.

OK... I say that now. :crazy::dunce::)

I certainly won't be buying the LCE for FM5, that's for sure.
 
I purchased that in FM3 just for the extra cars like the LFA.... im honestly happy to do so cause its in the grand scheme of things not that much money compared to the enjoyment the game gives me, and ultimately im happy to back Turn 10 with my money and sales because i want them to be able to keep going with the franchise.....its a kind of investment in them, if you like..
I'll never get precious about DLC etc, if you cant afford it though, tough, welcome to the real world, just dont get all mardy or jealous of those that can and do...
