how do you prefer to mow your lawn, tractor or puch mower? I enjoy both for mowing my 1 acre or land, the tractor for the busier days and the puch mower when i want to be outside on the nice wrm sunny days cuase it a good way to spend time when there is not much to do.

God, I have a hard time reading your posts,Attila.

But anyway i prefer the riding lawnmower but seeing as how i only own a push mower it doesn't matter.

I have to use the stupid push-mower for the front because it's too freaking steep. Now, if I ever actually did the back, I'd use the tractor. My friend and I raced tractors once. It was cool.

Wouldn't the size of the area you mow dictate the type of mower you use and not the kind you wish you had?
that is true but most people like avg about a 1/4- 1/2 acre of land so both are practible (sp?)

What? Not where I live. And if you're mowing a half acre with a push mower you need to have your head examined.

When I was a younger my grandmother told me she'd pay me to mow her entire back yard - 2 acres - with a push mower. I laughed in her face, and told her she wouldn't pay me what it would take to get me to do it. I used her riding lawn mower instead, and it still took forever.

I haven't mowed our yard in a long time. I only mow it if I'm in desperate need of money, and my dad won't give it to me. My dad pays 3 mexican guys in a white F-150 to do our yard work.:odd:

I use a 1 vatpower push power - one of those handmowers without an engine, with the rotary blades.

I don't have a lot of grass, so it's ideal. The good thing is that I'm not subject to noise regulations, so if I wake up early on the weekend I can sneak out and do the lawn before the the time restrictions.

time resrictions?

hell ill fire the mower up at 3:00am and mow the lawn (well if it were lighter out) and piss the lesbian neighboors off and everyone else in the area. i hate my neighboor(s) cause if you step 3 feet on their land (in the woods) they come out yelling but i don't see what im hurting by walking in the woods.

You're not really hurting anything. They just don't want you trespassing onto their property. Some people don't really mind, but some are really anal about that stuff.

yes and what kills me is that from when i was 4 -10 years old i was able to wonder freely until bad neighboors move in on BOTH sides of me replacing the friendly neighboors!!! :(

now alot of the woods in my area are disappearing from new housing developments which sucks ass alot..

life can be a ***** sometimes, do you agree?

You never realize how good your neighbors are until they're replaced by a couple of a-holes.

Luckily the woods right next to our new house are some sort of animal wildlife conservation, or something, so they're there forever. No annoying neighbors moving in to worry about.

Heh, yes, I definitely agree.

I use a push mow, but mine moves by it's self. U just have to turn it.
same here, except those damn hills the whells just dig into the grass and you almost have 2 life the whole mower to get it up the hill.

ya, I have a really hilly lawn. I should now.

I mow my own lawn (ironic that this appears on the same day as a shaving thread?), 2.6hp of human-propelled Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke pleasure.

Sorry, I haven't put it on a dyno yet for measurements at the wheel.
