Hi all,

I used to be a part of the following group

and am now trying to revive a similar league 10 years later! It was some of the best fun I've had gaming online, and GT7 has brought me back into the fold.

For those who don't want to go through 17 pages of the old thread, here are the basics:

  • Mature, friendly drivers who love good, clean racing and are as concerned about racing etiquette as they are winning (if not more).
  • We politely ask drivers who dominate to find tougher competition.
  • Mostly CST time zone (but drivers from any time zone are welcome)
  • Weekly League Races with a formal points system
  • Tentatively scheduled for Mondays at 8:30 CST for the league races, but mostly of us are on throughout the week hanging out in the lobby doing practice laps, races for fun, sharing tunes, tips etc.
  • Focus on using as much of our garage as possible on a variety of tracks rather than only the quickest, most popular cars.
  • Most of us use voice chat. Not required, but strongly encouraged as it adds to the fun of it all and lets us get to know each other.
  • Time commitment for league races will be kept short and to suit adult schedules so that people can jump in and participate in the league even if they have just 1 hour to spare per week.
  • If there is enough interest, we will eventually run a team racing league. In GT5, we ran a Super GT season with a pair of drivers per team with a F1 points system (and formal qualifying etc), and it was a great success.

Please let me know if you're interested below and once we have at least 8 drivers, I can start setting up the league and share track, car class details.

Thanks for reading!

If you still have some spots I would like to try out the League

Hey Rex, thanks for reaching out. Sorry on the delay, I forgot to post this reply

We run a Wed night & Monday night series.
We are just getting details ready for the next series.

Shoot me a FR on PSN
Delta795 and we can turn some laps!

Name is Casey, PSN Kingrex2000

I am slightly better than a beginner but not great amateur. 🤣
This is a pretty friendly, casual league with a range of driving skill and very rarely any aliens. The faster guys are typically are encouraging and willing to help anyone if they want it. Most of the time in practice or race, we are on voice chat, which is as much shenanigans and joking as it is racing logistics. Hope to see you on track soon!

Lay-Z-Boy Racing
Season 17 - Starting Monday March 31st

This season LZB will be doing mixed class races over the next 8 weeks.
Each racer will need to select (2) cars for the series
One Gr4 & One GR1 LMP - You will then need to switch up between the
Cars each week (ex - W1 GR4 > Wk2 GR1)

Qualifying - We will do 1 “hot” lap qualifying for each racer. Racers will go out
Individually, have their out lap & have 1 HOT lap to set a qualifying time.
Grid order will be set by the host based on the quali times. GR4 cars will always be
Set to the front of grid

Race info -
25 min Endurance races
Rolling start
BOP- ON
Penalties - Pit Lane / Track limit - Weak
STD LZB race settings
NO BLUE FLAG
Tire 4x / Fuel 6x
Compounds allowed - All

Tracks -
Nurb Sprint
Blue Moon - Infield B
Goodwood
Red Bull Ring - Short Track
Kyoto - Myabi
Watkins Glen - Short Course
Brand Hatch - Grand Prix

Additional Notes -
Due to mixed class racing we won’t be awarding points for fastest lap or pole
Also, with the speed and handling differences of these 2 classes it is imperative
to communicate an overtake.

There will likely be a time that GR4 racers are fighting for position while GR1 are attempting
overtakes. It is always the OVERTAKING drivers responsibility to complete a pass cleanly.
Please be aware of this & follow the basic guidelines we have for clean driving

Now get testing!!!

Thanks for asking. Yes, you can come in anytime and race with us. Like scuudz mentioned we are just looking for clean racers who race clean & want to have fun.

No plans to stop racing anytime soon! I'll
send ypu a FR on PSN and we can go from there.

Hi! I am very interested in joining. What time do you all usually run? Looking at past comments its around 8:45pm CST? I am a clean racer and would love to join.
