Hey I had a work emergency so I'm stuck for now, is this race a pre-season or part of the series?

Apologies for quitting on the 4th lap. Great clean racing up until then.

Evil wife (well that is her current name) decides to forget her keys so had to make the hard choice. Days/weeks of grief or open door.

See you next week and I'll make sure she has a key next time.

That was cool. It was my 1st time racing online. Skipped a few gears, which cost me and spun me off once... after that, I was moving out the way for people more than anything. No chance to catch anyone then... LOL

Enjoyed it though. Cheers!

I'll enter my name late! I've been looking for a championship like this.

No worries, going to go over the replay to review Excistor.

WHAT !? Disqualified man what I fighted for mine OWN POSITION :(. i defended the racing lines maybe some should do harder there best and think how to catch me.

DO U think M.Schumacher is giving cars the way .

Srry but if u need to let him trough cuz he is faster isnt fair i catched u both back.

Ok review the replay, found enough faults by Excistor to disq him from the last race but not to kick him from the championship.

Face it, you cut across people to the point of causing crashes, and you cut corners. M.Schumacher is known for dirty driving anyway.

Thanks for a fun race everyone!

Managed to grab the lead in the first lap, but I was so nervous (it was my very first competitive on line race :)) that I made a couple of mistakes and couldn't hold on. :indiff:

Got in trouble at the chicane at the end of lap 3 or 4. Got stuck there and there was no where to go, hope I didn't ruin anyones race coming back on the track. :nervous:

Looking forward to the next one! 👍

sorry i missed it, messed up the time change big time. I'll be there next week, can't wait! So angry i missed it, was it close?

That race was super fun, it was my first competitive online race and i did not do as well as I thought I would. Some of you guys were so fast, I dont know if it was your tune or your driving skill, but I have some work to do. Cant wait for the nest race.

I think we should all follow GTP_OnlyMe's lead and write short reviews on thier race.

For me:

Started the race 6th, put one up the inside of everyone 1st corner, but noone seemed to make a mistake and I came out 6th too. A little shunt off someone sent me to the back of the pack, and I eventually caught up with Torzilla. After this, a 5 lap battle between me and Torzilla issued. Some sloppy mistakes (Me late braking and Torzilla braking early) made moments rather hairy, but eventually we caught up with Excistor. Excistor was very defensive, and all three of us were three a breast on the 6th lap into the final corners of the race. It ended badly, me and Tor having to pull out. Excistor pulled away, and I had pulled away from Torzilla. Abot lap 12, I became bored and so I waited for Torzilla (I felt that his outcome of the 3 way battle was unfair) and the fight continued. about lap 16, we both became extremely sloppy in our driving techniques, due to tires going. Torzilla spun, leaving me to regain 8th. Last lap, I spun and rejoined the track, and as I was accelerating Torzilla had to swerve slightly to change his line. His tires failed him, and he had spun. I passed him and finished my race a few seconds ahead of him.

Was a good race, and just proves you dont have to win to have the fun.

SECOND RACE SCHEDULED:

SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY (4 More Races after till winner announced)

I qualified on pole and i went defensive on the first corner so no-one could over take me:) and i was in the lead for 8 or so corners and then i lost the lead then on the 6th lap it well all wrong and went from 2nd to 6th in one corner. But the i had a good fight with GTP_OnlyMe and TeamLotus_Seven for many laps and i managed to hold them off. But i nearly lost 3rd place on the last lap, but GTP_OnlyMe went wide and i managed to retake 3rd to come 3rd... good racing people and can't wait for the next event :D.

Unfortunately TeamLotus_Seven disconnected on the 17th lap so better luck next time :D

My tune should be on the 1st page of the Tuning Forum, its labelled Elise 111r

lol were you using the correct set of tires

Racing softs, they actually held up alot better in the race than in any of my practice sessions. I really just played it way too conservative at the beginning and never caught up. I qualified 2nd so I know I have it in me, I just need more experience in clean races. Im used to playing A-spec and random online races, but Im getting better so watch out next week.

I actually went wide intentionally to let you pass. I managed to grab 3rd from you on the straight approaching the chicane on the very last lap. But, I missed my braking point and braked too late. First thing I did was check my mirror as I was expecting to see you in there bigger than life. But I saw you spun out before the chicane. I felt that me braking late and getting into trouble was the cause for your spin, so I thought it only fair to let you back through... even it meant missing the podium :)

Edit: Cool pics!! Gonna frame that one with me in the lead. It'll probably never happen again :p

Hehe, I got the "Last of the Late Brakers" pic as my background. I can't see anything as tight as that happening again, we were all braking for the final chicane :)
