Cars: Le Mans Prototypes and the older Group C Race Cars
Track: La Sarthe 2009 with weather & time changes to simulate a 24 day over the course of the 1 hour race.
(Planning an Upcoming race on the 24 Hour Nurburgring Course)
To make the race about one hour we will set the laps on La Sarthe to 18-20.
Regulations
No Boost
No Skid Recovery
Penalties will be set to OFF - I'm have them off because its silly being able to drive through other cars in traffic
Damage is set to Light ( i might consider changing this in the future)
Weight - will be set to 750 kg
HP - will be limited to 976hp . despite all the cars (LMP & Group C) being at different HP and weights they all see to be somewhat even in the race at this HP setting.
Sauber Merc C9 '89 - 964 HP (no turbos) - 893 kg - ??? (( if you Sauber Engine is broken in & has over 976 you cant use it))
Pescarolo Courage - Judd GV5 '04 -960 HP (High RPM Turbo) - 900 kg

You May use any LMP or Group C thats Fits into the Regulations
Rules
No - Bashing / Pushing / Ramming into other drivers.
No - cutting corners or chicanes. Always keep two wheels on the track @ all times. ( On the correct side of the ruble strips)
On La Sarthe do not go outside the BLUE Paint @ Tetre Rouge ( The right turn before Mulsane Straight)
Do Not overtake someone unless you can do it without making contact with their car.
Lapped Drivers hold your racing line & let the other driver go around you
Use common sense - if your drafting someone dont brake at the same point as you usually would and smash right into the back of them at a corner.

Also I will post the room # 30 mins before the race .
Before starting the 1 hour race i will run a 1 lap race to see if anyone has a bad connection. If you do and your car is bouncing around the track hitting others i will ask you to leave please.
**NEW** Lap 1 will now be a be a pace lap, in case any drivers get a black screen on race start. The Lead car cannot go over 100 MPH and everyone will line up in the same order as the 1 lap .
my time zone is (GMT-5) if that makes it easy for you guys to figure out , so the UK is 5 hours ahead of me.
If you are someone who will just quit on lap 2 if your not in first - This is not for you.
If your someone who cant overtake without hitting other drivers - This is not for you.
