Some hints that new "EVO" style cars will be coming in 2010 but the current ones can and will stay

"We will do a lot of work for 2010 over the winter, but we want stability of three or four years, so there are no bad surprises for anyone. Current cars will still be allowed, but we will work to balance their performance with the new ones."

The new cars will most likely be the EVO cars that resemble road cars better like the CLR or 911 GT1, but since they won't have aero advantages of a 908 like a F1 style nose etc they will be given performance enhancements like maybe bigger tires, less weight, and more power to equal the speeds of the new EVO cars and the more purpose built prototypes that don't resemble a road car.

Or, alternatively .... just start the discussion here?

If you're really so desperate for it, what's stopping you from creating it?

How? His first post in that thread (before they where merged together) was today when he made the second thread at 10:09am est today. He bumped this thread yesterday at 4:51 est. (all my local time convert to your time)

I don' think it's suitable for a 2010 Le Mans thread to start in the middle of a four year old thread... kinda confusing to people just stumbling upon it.

Wasn't that why Arvin started a new thread on the subject back in February?
