They are a bit of a handful out of a slow corner in the game without it But in real life the drivers are a lot better than me

I've googled it in the past and could never find the drivers aid regulations. :/

Most modern ones have traction control regulated from the pit chief via remote control

"A traction control system operating exclusively on the
engine, and operating on the STSY if it is connected to the
rear wheels, is authorised."

-FIA 2012 Technical Regulations for Prototypes.

Good question. The answer is NO.

Pontiac marketed the LeMans from the early 1960s until about 1993 and none of the models were equipped with a traction control system.

2012 it's yes.

I'd quote both of you and myself if I could.. I guess we are all kind of right.. Yes it is 2012 and the Le mans cars do have traction control.. But.. A good portion of the Le mans cars are pre dated to 1993, so if you want to be realistic I guess just use traction control on those new then 1993, Pescarolo, Bentley, and Toyota GT1? Maybe?

No one markets LMP1 race cars to anyone but race teams. The OP was asking about the race cars in the race that the pontiac you mentioned was named after.
