Least familiar track

I did a search, couldn't find anything, etc.

Now my question to you is what is your most unfamiliar track? The track that, when you race it, you take every corner either too fast or too slow, the track that you've never seemed to have ran more than once.

Mine would be Opera Paris Reverse. When I raced it recently, I was crashing into walls or taking turns at 20 miles per hour.
 
I think Seoul. Not a difficult track, just unfamiliar.
 
Hong Kong. I always either hit the wall or get blown past on the corners. I always hate racing there, I probably haven't even done 20 laps on it.
 
Definitely Hong Kong Reverse. It's kind of dark and there aren't many reverse races run there to begin with. Even though I've run it forward more times than I can count, it seems very unfamiliar to run in reverse. I had to do a couple of 200 point games there recently so the annoyance is still fresh in my mind. Although I can run the track forward and backward from memory, it still feels funny when I drive it in reverse. Probably haven't done it enough times.

Opera Paris Reverse I'd run a lot in Special Conditions so I had to get familiar with it quick. It had a lot of zigzag turns so I've already forgotten the course save for the first few turns and the last few turns. Truthfully I couldn't even see the arrows until I got right up on them, so I wasn't always sure which direction to turn. That probably is the only course I never memorized. No matter, I won it easily by using a car that was very fast so I could sit back and feel my way through.

I've never done Sarthe or Nurb in reverse so I can't say about those. I'd like to try both when I have the time.

The track that I want to say is most unfamiliar is Laguna Seca Reverse, but I've already said that joke enough times.
 
Suzuka West. I absolutely suck at this track (probably because there aren't any races on it). I have a lot of trouble with Fuji Speedway 2005 too.
 
There isn't a Nurb reverse is there? And I know there isn't a Laguna reverse, but I'd love to drive one.

Fuji 2005 is my least familiar as well.

Isn't that George V?
Opera Paris is the track that takes place in the daytime, and is used as a regular race track.

you must be very unfamiliar with it because it's George V Paris

my least familiar would have to be El Capitan:drool::banghead:

i spend ages on that course practising getting:censored: off:drool:
 
Mine would be the rally tracks...I cannot for the life of me get the lines right no matter what tires I can use or what car :dunce: :crazy:

This is coming from someone with experience: Practice, A LOT! you will see improvement, I garauntee it. (or your money back :D) Also, try to use a car that is difficult to drive fast. (Any 4WD Group B car will do.) That way when you get good at it, NO car can hinder you. It worked for me. 👍
 
I won't count rally-stages, since I haven't driven most of them more than required for the "Easy" level, which I overkilled.

Suzuka West isn't that hard, I think. I mean, since I know Suzuka (full), West is simply without the S-turns at the start.

El Capitan, both directions, I know perfectly (And guess who got gold in WRS Week 71 Div3?). Assissi (Great city, in real life), I know pretty good, since it's a fun track for RR cars. Costa di Amalfie, I know well, but can't stand it. Fuji 2005, I know it OK, but just can't figure out where the track ends (since everything is tarmac)... They're not unfamiliar to me.
However, I've never driven A-spec on Hong Kong reverse (only used for FF Challenge, AFAIK), so that's the least familiar one.
 
My least familiar is by far Grand Canyon, at first, I could win against a Toyota Celica GT-Four Road Car using a Subaru Impreza Rally Car, I can now, but I'm still not that great at it.

I'm also not very familiar with Hong Kong, but after a few of the longer races there I got used to it a bit more.
 
De La Sarthe, either version. if i would have afford, I'd buy french flags and burn one every time I end up on sand or wall or just spin because os speck of sand on track.

You're probably right. See how unfamiliar I am with that track. However I love the daytime Opera track and know it like the back of my right hand. Oops, I mean my other hand.:dunce:

That track like any other ice track is easy to remember. Just ride the walls all the way around. I memorized it. Left turn, right wall. Right turn, left wall. Straights, down the middle.:D
 
Hong Kong, definitely. It's just no fun.

I know pretty much all of the other tracks really well, although I still can't nail Degner Curve or 130R at Suzuka every time. :scared:

Hong Kong is a great track for using mid-power coupes on. I use it almost exclusively to test out Japanese sports cars because it seems so good to me (even though Hong Kong speaks Chinese, right?)
 
Fuji Speedway 2005 GT. I have raced that only for the DTM championship - it rarely seems to come up for any other race. I get lost in all the tarmac around there. I don't dislike it, I just can't do it quickly.

AM, there's also a mission (Celica Showdown) which takes place there. Easy one, but if the track was clearer (like the original Fuji), I'd beat it first-try.
 
Grand Canyon: Can't remember that twisted layout it for the life of me.

There is no such thing as Nurb reverse.

My most unfamiliars would be practically all of the rally tracks apart from Chamonix; any moderation of Fuji (original's easy); and of course, the good ol 'Ring. So far I have memorized the first quarter of the track.

I'm pretty much madness with the rest of the tracks:tup:
I love Suzuka. Kickass track. & Laguna.
 
For me it would definitely be either of the Fuji 2005 tracks. Not for lack of racing on them, I just can't see the dang things! I've finally learned enough visual cues on off-in-the-distance landmarks that I can (usually) complete a lap without leaving the track. Now I have to work on how to see the best lines.

Oddly enough, though, I found that Celica Showdown mission so easy that I nailed it first try, even though I went way wide on some of the corners as usual.
