Least Favorite Tracks?

I've gotta disagree with all the Suzuka hate here. I've always rather enjoyed that one.

For me, I hate Daytona and Indianapolis ovals because they're ovals, and like many players these bore me to sleep. I don't care for the Daytona road course because besides being dull and featureless it feels too claustrophobic to me. I hate Fuji just because it feels like I'm racing around an uninspired Walmart parking lot for some reason.

Don't like Fuji. Tilke is one of the worst designers in the world.

Yeah, he's fairly universally reviled, but I don't hate all of his tracks. I kinda like Istanbul Park, anyway. Here's hoping the Austin circuit turns out alright.

My least favorite tracks are the following:
1. Nurburgring GP - It feels like Fuji but with bumps XD
2. Fuji - the first corner and the last three corners before entering the straight
3. Cape Ring - can't seem to find a decent rhythm regardless of what car I use
4. Daytona (road and oval course)

Top favorite tracks:
1. Monza- great track and I use the long right bender to test whether the car under-steers or not.
2. Suzuka
3. Tokyo R246 (don't know why some hate this track, but for me this track is awesome! Just love the bends and the turns, if you do it right and know the entry speed for all the corners, you'll have some pretty consistent lap times.)
4. Tsukuba - I also use this track to test the cars handling. It's a good track for me but I don't want to race enduro's on it, just like the rest of us.

5 La Sarthe variants when 2 of the GT4 variants would have been adequate, 5+ Eiger rally variants, 5+ Chamonix rally variants, I can't stand these two rally tracks in particular. They are too long and tedious in general: generic left/right sweeps and crests.
Cape Ring Full... 👎 GT3's Complex String surely must not have been replaced by that monstrosity.

Tracks in Britain, Italy and Spain. If they took the trouble to model Monza and Nurburgring GP, we could have got Silverstone, Imola and Barcelona. Instead we get dull and unimaginative 'tours' in streets of London, Rome, Madrid. Hong Kong and Paris in GT4 can be considered 'Singapore' and 'Valencia' in comparison.
Also, I don't understand why the tracks in arcade/practice mode are littered all over the place. There is no sense of organizing and hints that PD paid little attention to the layout.

You do realise that licencing restrictions apply to the real-world circuits in the game, right? I mean, look at the Cote d'Azur - there are subtle differences between it at the actual circuit because Polyphony could not get the licence to use the actual circuit.

It's funny you should compare those street circuits to Valencia. Based on the reactions from people playing F1 2010, it's apparently a lot of fun to drive.
