So...

Being a real human being, who does human stuff, like take holidays, I was forced into a break from GT3 for a total of nine (yes, count 'em) days.

Trust me, this is a long time.

But I was good. I didn't pine (too much), and I never let on to the wife that I was missing the game. It was hard, damn hard, but through strength of character (and a large amount of beer), I made it.

Now I know how monks feel.

But, you see dear reader, the thing was, that when the sentence ended, and I was reunited with my trusty PS2, and I'd fired up the game, I was total garbage at it! I mean, really bad. Truly, honestly, nightmarishly so. It was fortunate that I'd chosen a qualifying run, as otherwise I would definitely have lost, even though I'd entered some poxy race, like 'Beginner NA' with some monster like the C5r.

Anyone else had similar problems? It was bad. I have resolved never to spend more than, ooh, two days from the game again!

Yes, I know exactly what you mean! I remember when GT3 came out, I was seriously doubting myself as a racing gamer. But I hadn't played GT2 for about 3 months, so I had a good excuse. :D

Geez, now I really feel bad.
I havent played in two months. It sucks to move away from anybody that will play against you, and I really dont like racing the computer. I may get a chance to play again when I get back home, but who knows.
Grad school sucks

i never played against someone else, i've just play against the computer.
hey who's beat the arcade mode ?? (all of it)
cuz at the end...you get two pointless videos and they are really slow and boring , i was hoping for something more exciting

Hey, I like the videos!! I quite like the Vivaldi piece - it's quite mellow. It's cool. I'm old. That's life. Move on...

A Spec Racer,
Well of course you think it is slow and boring, you are from LOS ANGELES. You must have the attention span of a gnat to boot! You need to be M-E-L-L-O-W, and take another hit off your bong dude!
Troy :burnout:
