Hello guys,

We ( Sim drivers not Boy racers) when play online all hate dirty players, cheating corner cutting, all sorts that been covered by online racing posts.

But one thing that really anoyes me is when someone is leaving the pits, doesnt look at the map and takes you out on your flying lap.
Theres a map with other drivers car icon on it, someone please tell me is it so hard or just me getting old and intolerant?

Take care all, and nice races. Fast and Clean.

People in NASCAR rooms who don't stay below yellow line, come out of pits and 60mph and cause chaos... hate that...

I hear you man.

To me, its basic common sense and something I have always practiced.

Very annoying when its done whilst drifting too.

I know right, I always stay as out of the way until I get into turn 1 to let faster cars through.

everybody should be forced to drive within the white lines when coming out of the pits. thats a normal racing rule

It seems that you have never watched a real GT race... This would show you what happens in reality and what it gets to finish first place.

And it's not just limited to people coming out of the pits. Some people go below the yellow line then just bolt up right in front of you mid-race.

There needs to be some kind of penalty for people who do that...

I know nobody listens to this rule, but i think its a decent rule to attend to

Race with friends and regular groups. You find courtesy, respect and fun.

Race in open lobbies and you find obnoxious chat, reverse driving, and demolition derby.

I'd rather run b-spec than join an open lobby.

I once joined a lobby titled something like '500pp road cars, fair racing only' and on two occasions I was sent into massive fishtails which ended in crashes (into the wall, not other cars) by someone pushing too hard, going off the circuit, then rejoining without looking. They'd be doing 30mph and get back on track right in front of me, and I'd be going too fast to dodge, in fact the second time it happened the guy rejoined the track and spun out as he did so, resulting in a pretty hefty T crash, but I somehow only bounced off him rather than just stopping.

Not sure why it's so hard to check what's coming before crawling back onto the track, especially at the Nordschliefe, it's too narrow for that sort of thing. I suppose it's not exactly unfair racing, but it kind of is, because I had been in the lead and was left trailing the pack by quite a distance... Right up until I was disconnected from the lobby.

Ghosting needs to be implemented during free-run. I can't count how many times my lap has been ruined by someone else crashing-out on the track.

Just like most of the online gaming community for many games. 90% [made up statistic number, just what it seems like] of people that play online only care about themselves. And what will be best for them.
It drives me up a wall. As someone said earlier, I would rather do B Spec than deal with people like that.
Another example I can give is I don't know how many times on Call of Duty I've protected someone on my team. Then someone from the other team comes in and kills me. That's no big deal, but what bothers me about that is as I am getting shot I see my teammate just staring at me trying to hide so he doesn't get killed or waits for the guy that killed me to run away and then kills him.
Sadly though this is one aspect that will never go away and I believe it will only get worse. We can all only hope for more mature gamers.

IMHO I think "Ghosting" should be taken out completly. Adds to the realism. Ok, there should be an option to allow you to turn it on if you want but I really dont like it.
Ruins the overall realism feel when you do get a good lobby going and when you go 3 wide into a corner and there is a little friendly jostling all of a sudden your a ghost and you go right through the guys beside you.
As much as I agree with you, I just dont like it.
Also annoys me when Im being lapped but still fighting for a position and we are both ghosts and we can just drive straight through each other to overtake.

On topic: I, when exiting the pits, always stay in the white line, if someone faster is coming down the straight, I'll yield if they are close enough.
