"I'm leaving" threads are very, very rarely productive. Generally the opinion is that the person who is leaving isn't ACTUALLY leaving, and wants some personal validation that they should stay - so generally what happens is people say "So?".

This isn't to say I want you to leave, but that announcing it is usually a "bad thing"...
