You know they’re seriously looking at these sales numbers. No doubt they’ve got to be reading this particular thread. When that F40 posts, it’d be interesting to see the buy rate. Hagerty are slick.
 
So, both the Escudo and the Ford are on two new "Hot" slots, with the return of the $20 million Ferrari, the Shelby Cobra and the Toyota 2000GT, but NO F40. Escudo at $1.7 mil and the Ford at $450k, classified as road car so I guess it can be tuned.

But the F40 it seems is now evolved into this game's Holy Grail.

Edit: The Cobra is the Roadster, NOT the Daytona, but still, just reappeared tonight.

Going to join the F40 waiting room. It's the last car I need for the full collection. Hopefully it will take RX500's place (which we've got in F40's place earlier) and appears in a few days. It was supposed to be around June 28th, but trophy cars got pushed back earlier a few times already and some cars did stay at LCD for way too long, so maybe a few days later.
 
^ wow that's just excessive as hell geez... give me time to grind damb lol...I was expecting two new cars not 5 and two are for 20 million each smh...

The 250 GTO is just a better tuned version of the 250 GT... Not sure what I was expecting, maybe a quicker car? I just ran both of them at 590PP at Brands, 250 GT at 2222lb and 319HP, GTO 1930 (whatever stock is) and 295hp, so a pretty close power:weight ratio slightly favoring the 250 GTO. Ran 3-4 laps each and the best times were 1:39:92 for the GTO and 1:39:95 for the GT.

I think with a good tune the 250 GT '61 is going to be faster than the "race car" for less than 1/2 the price. So unless they create a bespoke event where the GTO can enter and the GT cannot, there's a good chance the GTO gets stomped by its road-going older brother, lol

F40 switched places with the RX500 (presumably) so it is not due yet. The Red Pig and Alpine A220 still have to drop, then it has a good chance of being in the next 4-5 cars, at least if it follows the previous pattern at all. So it wasn't due today (though it was due more than a month ago so I get the impatience)

nevermind I just saw the dealership and was incorrect on the shelby thank god lol... so far I have every car in the current rotation except Escudo and the Ferrari which I will have to grind for... I just bought the ford and currently have 1.2 million so i will get the Escudo soon...

Dig, there’s a Chrysler motor in the Ford. So, the swaps we have in game, are “just because“ at best. No method to it. PD just sprinkle a couple of normal swaps, but think it’s cool to lock certain engines out of all cars.

I always thought they half assed most features here. That includes engine swaps.

If they’re half assing the engines in the Tuning Shop, they’re doing n excellent job. Leaving the prices and only allowing a few cars with specific engines would now they are enabling/unlocking certain features per update. Bonkers.
 
Still waiting on the Ferrari F40, I thought for sure it would be returning this week.

Its a shame as for some reason I find the way it looks amusing. Put a **** livery on and could be a good 'troll' car at some stage :D

You get the same results at the same PP-figure ... isn't that the point of the whole system?

Maybe I’d learn the story if I bought it and read the full description, but I’m on the fence to be honest. 450,000 cr. is no joke if you aren’t into this type of car.

The Escudo is suprisingly very competitive against Gr.2 so much so that it almost feels like the Escudo from GT2 that was super OP.

Tested out a custom race at Watkins Glen and the Escudo was holding 3 and 4th place against the F1 GTR LTs and CLK-LMs. All I did was increase the downforce and lowered it abit but it's easily one of my favorite cars so far now. I recall the handling being pretty bad in GT4-GT6 but I could be getting it mixed up with another car.
