Legendary cars dealer refresh

Is the McLaren road car in the shop right now worth it? I have the two McClaren legendary race cars. I'm more of a Ferrari guy. I only have the Ferrari 250 GTO ‘62 left to have all Ferraris. I have about 11,000,000 credits right now and that one is probably coming up soon...

I'm not super interested in getting all the cars in Legendary dealer. Have most of the ones I want. All the classic Le Mans cars from 60s and 70s, all the Gr. C cars, and many others. I vowed I'd never get any of the near 20 million credit cars except the Porsche 917K because I love the 60s/70s Le Mans cars and that track... And the Ferrari 250 GTO just to complete the Ferrari collection...
I've used the McLaren F1 and think it's a pretty solid car. I really enjoyed using it and the McLaren racecars too. The 3.6m credit one in Brand Central is a total boss and the black one from the Hagerty Dealership is a pocket rocket.

On a separate note, I bought the Aston Martin yesterday so down to 5 cars remaining to buy and I've got 43m credits. Today we will get two new cars and one more tomorrow, so fingers crossed. :)

Edit: New cars today are:

Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 '52 - NEW (Cr. 1,000,000)
AMG CLK-LM '98 - NEW (Cr. 6,500,000)

I'll be buying the AMG CLK to take my tally up to 438/442. The finish line is well and truly in sight and then I'll be so close to 100% of this entire game. :)

Got 18 million and the Porsche 917K is in my garage!

I've been exclusively driving Porsche cars in Spa/Sardegna/Le Mans/Tokyo. The Cayman in Tokyo 600 is by far my favorite! More than 1000 km on it already. Now I can buy every Porsche car (VGT included) at Brand Central and finish this collection.

This is how I've been grinding recently. There a some cars that I don't have from Brand Central, most are Gr.3/4 and VGTs. I thought it could be a good idea (and a way to experiment with more cars) if I stick to only driving cars from that especific manufacturer until I have the money to buy the entire collection.

From the LCD I only need 3 more cars: Mercedes-Benz 300SL W194, Ferrari 250 GTO and McLaren F1 GTR. Then I'll be set free to buy all VGTs, Gr.1/2/3.

Should have bought that first, it's a 20 mil car now.

How does the 917K perform at Sardegna? I am currently at $16 million and will probably just purchase that instead of the McLaren F1 as I already own both F1 GTRs. I only drove it during the S License test but the conditions were rainy and it had next to no grip.

Those 3 LCD cars are pretty much the ones I also need. Best of luck grinding - you might need to do lots soon because some of these cars haven't been available for months so I suspect they'll be made available soon.

I've got 38 million credits but it might not be enough if all 3 drop and the Alfa. :(

At first i decided to not buy the cars i didn't want from LCD, but now i have skipped the porsche and i can't compleet the menubook i'm frustrated, so i'm going to buy them all, i made a list and now no that i will have no life the next few weeks  :banghead: :banghead:
i'm at 71% totall so i still have to buy alot.

  • 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta '38
  • 300 SL (W194) '52
  • GTO ’62
  • S Barker Tourer '29
  • Spyder type 550/1500RS '55
  • D-type '54
  • Cobra Daytona Coupe '64
  • 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto '61 (maby i bought this, not sure right now)

This is worth a gazillion amount of credits :lol:, but the good part is, i already have 29 mil :boggled::lol:

I see that the Dior Mangusta is still marked as “HOT”. Surely it must be cooling down by now?
At least it's not taking up one of the 10 available spots. It could be worse - 2 of the 105 (once the Silvia S14 finds its permanent place) slots in the UCD rotation are now taken by the exact same Fiat 500 F (same color, same mileage, same price; where between June and September, it had been 2 different colors/mileages/prices), with 6 days of that not-quite-monthly rotation featuring both taking up 2 of the 30 available slots.

917k since last updates drives like ****, very unstable. There the P300 P4 performs much better. It's my advice.

Was the Porsche Strasser always 9 million? I seem to remember it being much cheaper when I bought it..

It started at 3,000,000 Cr., then went up to 3,100,000 Cr. in the May price-jackings.

Just wait until you see the 1952 Mercedes 300 SL - that went up a full 7,000,000 Cr. this time around after going up 2,000,000 Cr. in May to hit the (theoretical) 20,000,000 Cr. ceiling.

Ouff.

It was 3 last time it came up...
Ahh, so I did remember correctly. That's a shame..

Crap, I would like to buy the CLK but I only have 2,2 mil and I am not in the mood for grinding races...

Do you know approximately when Porsche from new extra menu will be available ?

It's avaiable now in the Brand Central Dealership.
Pretty sure he meant the old one you need to complete the menu, think it’s the Spyder.

snc

Likely sometime between the middle of November and the beginning of December, and I'll bet later (after the November Hagerty's price adjustments and a price increase for the Spyder). It was last available 9/1-9/10, selling out 9/11.

That's part of the reason why the 1.23 update is in the 1.07/1.08 territory.

You're 4,300,000 credits off getting the CLK which isn't very much.
That's like doing 5x 30min Le Mans races or 6x Sardegna track races so 2.5hrs of grinding at most. If you do only one race a day, you'll also get the daily bonus so can stretch it out over the next week.

Thx for info, thought it will be soon eh.

For some LCD top classic cars, I would like buy two of each model if enough CRB, like 787, CLK, etc :)

For those 20M cars like 8C , one is good enough ? As I did not read many discussions on racing with those cars comparing with 787 . So one is just for collection, and taking picures.

Still waiting for the F40&ESCUDO

Omg! It's finally back in the dealership! Today's new car is:

Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta '38 - NEW (Cr. 20,000,000)

Can't wait to go home and buy! 439/442.

Last 3 I need are:
BMW - McLaren F1 GTR Race Car 1997 - 9.5m cr
Ferrari - 250 GTO CN.3729GT 1962 – 20m cr
Mercedes - 300SL W194 1952 – 20m cr

I'll only have 20m credits so I really need to grind quickly as we're getting 2 new cars tomorrow.
