Sitting at 9.1 million credits. Purchased the Mercedes Clk-LM earlier this week. Does anyone know how much the gr3 McLaren F1 95 is going to be? Not sure if I should pick this gr2 version up or wait for the gr3. Want the penzoil skyline as well.

Bought the CLK-LM and it handles like a dream. I can control the rear stepping out; it actually goes where I point it without understeering into everything, and I feel confident taking corners at speeds I know are possible.

I need to scrounge up more credits for the F1 GTR before it leaves the dealership. And then again for the R92 and Pennzoil GT-R when they show up.

I bought the CLK LM last night thanks to the new economy, I was worried it would be a pig seeing as it's a retro race car but it's so catchable and confidence inspiring. It also makes the 800pp races quite easy/enjoyable.

I thing that McLaren F1 Gr2 much better then CLK-LM, cos it more fuel economy and good temp. I won 15-lap race with 1 pit-stop (+10 sec next opponent) and I won CLK-LM with 2 pit-stops the same race, but I needed +3 tries and the fight was till the last seconds of the race. I think it costs 9,500,000

Looks like I need to get that too. The CLK LM require 2 pits full speed or 1 pit but need to coast at those braking points.

If you install racing hards and drop the power to about 480 with ballast you will pass the Viper right when it pits going from lap 4->5 I believe. If using fuel level 4 or 6, if you time it right you will not have to pit for atleast 2 more laps and by then you will already be long ahead of the viper as with RH you will not have to change the tires just add fuel so the pit stop will be quicker but yes I agree the F1 GTR is much more efficient on fuel though it doesn't seem to shave that much off the time as they both still finish around 26~ minutes.

Went ahead and picked it up. I haven't tested fuel efficiency, I just ran some arcade on Hard Sport tires. CLK-LM feels a bit better in this setup. Credits really aren't much of an issue right now anyway, should be able to afford whatever at this point.

Which day do they rotate? I want the CLK and F1 GTR. Want to know how much time I have to grind. Can only buy 1 of them at the moment not both.

Usually a car will go into "limited stock" at midnight UTC 2 days prior to selling out after being on the list for 3-5 days. The 1.11 update has played havoc with that, both in Hagerty's and the UCD.

The CLK actually broke that 2-day rule (to your benefit) as it went into limited stock on April 7 and should have sold out April 9 (almost 23 hours ago). I don't expect it to last until tomorrow, so you have about 1 hour to get it.

The 1997 F1 GTR is not yet in limited stock, but since it was added as part of the 1.11 expansion, it could go there at any time.

Thanks guys. I bought the CLK. Hope I find the time to grind for the GTR before it goes out. These two cars have been my favourite race cars since GT4.

edit

I'm a moron. Had bought the 2J when I first saw it days ago, just realized it's free from a mission.

If you can gold all of those endurance races you can get it.

No. For the endurance races you get the '69 Fairlady Z 432 for bronze, and the '64 Aston DB5 for gold.
The 2J comes from getting gold in 'The Sun Also Rises' missions.

I think they meant through the prize money.

Oh, yeah. The reply about grinding for the McLaren GTR was a bit further up. I read 2J and golding endurances and yeah 🤦‍♂️

The "Gr.3" McLaren F1 '95 is estimated to cost 20 million... It's the Le Mans winning model that's on the McLaren museum IRL.

So, prepare for the worst. Everything below 20 million is good, because that car's value is supposed to be higher than the Road Car.

Glad I snagged that 365 when I saw it was at limited stock a few hours ago. I love those things.

The CLK is every bit as good as I remember. Even GT7's physics couldn't ruin it.

That cant be right, everyone was so convinced the 250 gto would be like 60 mill so surely thats a mistake
I guess 20 million is the maximum price for now.

Seems like the cars sell out even slower than they did before the dealers were expanded, still waiting on the 787 to show up.
Yeah. They gave us more cars but seem to have doubled the length of stages at which they progress from new to gone. Not cool.

Ferrari 250 GTO '62 (right-hand drive), 1157km driven – 20 million credits
Shelby Cobra 427 '66, 1798km driven – 2.5 million credits

Chaparral, Alfa Romeo 8C, Peugeot 205 Turbo are limited stock.
Ferrari 250 GTO '62 is one of my favourite cars of all time.
Let the grind begin!
PS. This shouldn't take long now with the Tomahawk X on WTC 600.

I wonder if that Cobra would clean up in the Mission one hour pre-1979 endurance event? What is the PP on it?
