I completely forgot...guess I'm out this series. GT5 seems to be taking a backseat to real life for a bit...
 
Good race, had a blast.

Car was a little squirrelly/unpredictable for most of the first lap, I think was getting some lag issue or something. Everything was perfect after that, though. :cool:
 
I'm not really sure what happened on the first lap. It felt like slow motion immediately but the game was reporting the same speeds I was getting in free run. Timing in regards to braking points and corner entrance was out of whack. I think I was able to adjust eventually but by that time I had already pit twice. Once geezer left, everything went back to normal for me. I was able to pull a 1:55.2x w/o draft at that point. I will go back to replay and see what the game recorded as the time.

So, just to be clear, can we do oil changes? I don't see anything in the spec sheet that says yes or no. And I will also assume no more engine/chassis refresh, correct?

Yes, you can do oil changes, engine rebuilds, and chassis refreshes to your heart's content from here on. The only rules are that you can't spend more money than you've been rewarded.

I saw before that there were different prices for certain upgrades. Is there a price list somewhere ?


Edit: and if there is, can it be linked/added to the 1st post ?

I'm updating the left phalange, changing the specs on my rotary girders, and installing a turbo encabulator.
 
I'll be adding a flux capacitor and a Mr. Fusion. My car will not have to pit for gas. I will just grab Garris's half eaten sammiches as he tosses them out the window of his Talon.
 
That means you'll have to stop on pit road chuyler....
 
Nah, Garris can hand me the sammiches out the window when I lap him.
 
How are you going to get garris' sammiches in the Mr. Fusion ?

Send Nick out on the Hoverboard ?

That's probably a good thing. Otherwise next season I'd be driving a 4 hp carriage.
 
I think where your racing they don't need roads.
 
Great Scott! You're right. Ehh, who am I fooling. No way Garris can make enough sammiches to produce 1.21 gigawatts.
 
I' m giving a ride to some libyan nationals. perhaps there additional cargo could be beneficial :sly:
 
Wait, I think I have an idea for an event: 1 driver hops in the DeLorean. Everyone else hops in a Samba Bus. We go to TGTT and if the driver in the DeLorean reaches 88 mph he wins. The Buses are given a head start so they can set up in various parts of the track...or we'll limit it to the air strip or something.

Another idea: Teams of two; 900 total PP between you; goal is to get both your cars across the finish line before any other team; NO OTHER RULES; Cirque de la Sarthe (no chicanes) - 1 lap.
