I was driving a Delta S4 (standard) and noticed that the mudflaps didnt wave in the wind like they used to in GT4?
Is this still true for other standard rallys cars? because if it is im dissapointed that even more details from GT4 have been left out.

If memory doesn't fail me, there was an exact same thread like this like a week ago, and you're right.

Standard cars are less detailed because of 1080p, AFAIK.

I highly doubt 1080p has ANYTHING to do with a mudflap moving or not moving tho lol.

I don't think OP was referring to graphic details, as more in game detail like flaps moving, mirrors busting off, tires flat etc...

Viewing a render meant for SD on a 1080P HD set definitely doesn't help. Still, I could have sworn GT4 had a 1080i mode to component out cables.

It may be a relative comparison thing, but I do have to agree a good portion of the standard cars don't look very pretty. Many of the lines on the doors and hood have obvious pixelation. The ones that can be painted, I paint black to help minimize this, and if I do have to take a picture of one in photo mode, I make sure I'm going at full speed and set the camera so that there's a nice amount of blur... :p

In my humble opinion, there are a lot of aspects of GT5 that are a huge step back from GT4...quite disappointing.

Yes there is. Why would they take it back?

"If it ain't broke don't fix it!" Seems like that is the main problem with GT5. They messed up a lot of the game trying to make it different from GT4. IMHO, I think they should have ommitted B-spec and 3D and added a couple hundered more premium cars and more events.
