The time has come for Sjaak to take a break from the high work load that comes with organising the WRS every week. Although Sjaak and I have had the very rare disagreement here and there, I do not however regret one single minute of his time as the WRS Race Steward, in fact, he has been absolutely fantastic in the role and I would like to personally thank him for all the time and effort he has devoted to the WRS over the last year.

I really hope all of us will manage to find the time to post a few words of thanks to this very special guy. He really has done the WRS proud and deserves all the credit he receives. So please, please, please post to thank Sjaak for a good job well done. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Well done and thanks, Sjaak. 👍

See you on the track, mate.:cheers::

Jerry.

Watch out guys, here I come!!!! :sly:

Well done Sjaak! I've been slacking of late (life) but my races at the WRS were most enjoyable!

Mark. :)

Well Done on a great Admin job Sjaak 👍 Enjoy your break buddy and will see you down the road somewhere soon

COD4 pretty much has my gaming time nowadays, but I will check in every now and then to grab the odd race, have fun Jerry ;)

Thanks for a lot of great work, Sjakie.

Lasting for so many month is really exceptional with the very heavy load of work and high expectations following the WRS these days. 👍 👍 👍

See you around, ouwe. :D

And welcome back to you, Jerry. :)

Sjaak, thanks for the great job you've done for the past months 👍 I really enjoy competing in this series and I liked all your races (and some were really addicting!)

Cheers to Sphinx for taking this task from now on

Thank you most sincerely. All I have to do to enjoy the WRS is sit down and play. Fantastic race selections, great participation, and tight competition have been hallmarks of your WRS stewardship, it is greatly appreciated.

thanks bigtime for your hard work in wrs sjaak :bowdown::bowdown:
i hope to see you around as a competitor in our racing league.
thanks to jerry also for returning as our steward 👍 👍 👍

A very bit thank you for a job extremely well done!! Enjoy your free time, you've earned it!

Bedankt voor alle tijd en moeite die je in de WRS stak, Sjaak, en geniet van je herwonnen vrije tijd!

Sjaak
Thankyou
I have to say Thank You for all your involvement and hard work that you have put into the WRS. Enjoy the freed up time as I have enjoyed the stewardship you have given all of us.

Kenny

Congrats on a job well done mate, not easy coming up with so many great race ideas nor dealing with all us cocky bastards :sly:

I enjoyed racing under your stewardship but I'll enjoy more getting back to racing against you 👍

Erik

Damn you guys.:sly:

You all make me blush.:O:O

Good luck to Sphinx again,
I will stay around to support Jerry and the WRS when ever needed.👍

This place is like Hotel California. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave...

Good work with the WRS, Sjaak. 👍

You can't leave us with Jerry though.... :(

:dopey:

Thanks to sjaak for all of the hard work it must be to organize the WRS. I know that I have found a reason to improve my racing technique here as well as the means to do it. Gran Turismo has been pretty much the only game I have played ever since I found it in the original version, but the WRS has shown me how high the bar can be set and makes me want to try to reach it.

Thanks to all who make this possible, and I look forward to many competitions this year.

Bryan

Well done, Sjaak!!!

A very sincere and personal thanks to you for all the work you've done. I think you've done a great job, and look forward to seeing you on the track!!

Thanks for all the great combos, Sjaak. I really enjoyed every race you've hosted and you have done such an excellent job here. You have inspired me to keep racing and challenging myself, thanks!! :)👍

Sjaakie, i think someone else already mentioned the diversity in combos that you have brought to the series, and i would like to second that emotion, you manage to pick a combo we may have run before (easy after 140 weex!) but it will always have a new slant on it that totally suprises me and makes me want to drive, and its that originality that i associate with your time spent as steward.

Thankyou for everything youve done for WRS and all us racers.

Looking forward to seeing you later in the year.... we got some drinx and long chats to have mate 👍

Hope you dont mind:

Thats our guy, with the pointy hat!

:irked:👍

Sjaak - You have been the steward for all but one of my weeks in the WRS.

I will be another to mention that you found a way to make this interesting and innovative.

You've done a great job, hope you will hang around and drive with us now that you have more time on your hands.

Kevin

Well there is not left for me to say after all these great comments Sjaak, but you full deserve my thanks for your hard work and sublime combos. YOut truely have done a top notch job and my only wish was that i had not been through a patch of not really wanting to race hard. Being Killed on COD4 by Ron takes mos of my gaming time up these days. So thank you once again Sjaak and i will see you in may  :D 👍

I've been gone all day so I guess I may be one of the last to check in on this one.

Sjaak, your combos, were for me at least, very challenging and some times frustrating. That being said I've learned valuable lessons in every case, which I think has made me a better driver. I can only echo the many sentiments expressed before me. A job well done mate and a well deserved rest from the labors of stewardship.

I good leader is always decisive, right or wrong one needs to be decisive. You have raised the bar and will forever be a fine example of a good quality leader. I will enjoy two fingers of my favorite adult beverage (Woodford Reserve) in your honor and salute your outstanding efforts. 👍👍👍

Was here as WRSr for very short time but i wanna thank you sjaak, since with your combos you made me enjoy GT4 again like it was the first time i raced!
great work!

Even though I am a rookie in the WRS and in the forum I admit that it has been done a great job.
So thanx sjaak for all the great combos mate, cya around ^^ 👍

Not to get repetitive but

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

In addition to the great combo's, everything ran particularly smoothly - the mark of an excellent administrator

Edit: Ahh...crap - I can't get the TUP's to frame correctly

Way to keep it alive mate  You hard work is always appreciated! See ya out on the track dude.

Jerome

Hoi Sjaak, I'll speak to you about this later but despite my few unworthy attempts at a couple of races I have kept an eye on all the races you offered.
They always looked good and interesting and usually had a twist in them as well :). Most has already been mentioned in posts above. So I'll just join in....

Goed gedaan jochie!

AMG.

Excellent work, sjaak! It's been a pleasure having you run the WRS for us. We're grateful for the all your efforts in support of GTPlanet!
