You should only have to ever have 2 passengers, a girl and her cute girl friend. And the Miata works for that. :sly:

No no, you're doing it wrong.

You'd be in the driver seat, a girl would be next to you and her cute friend can recline on the ample rear shelf. Or just sit on her friend's knee (edit, tree'd by Azuremen).

What if I want the rigidity, insulation, rollover protection, street security, and lack of noise of a real, steel roof?
 
2 in the passenger seat? Only if my face and lap are already occupied and I have 2 more already in line.
 
My buddies fit five in a Miata. Plenty of passenger space.

And don't start with the no low-end torque argument and revving to the stratosphere to get going... Miatas are just the same, especially NA's and NB's.

I agree that the best car for guy-to-girl relations is something from the 50s with a bench seat. People tell me that it really was just like American Graffiti back in those days.

There's 350 of them out there. Some even in left hand drive. Wonder how hard it would be to import one. Obviously they are safer since they have a fixed roof. :dopey:

you forgot something.

a car that doesn't automatically jack your insurance rate through the roof!
 
Miata's are cheap to insure. Full coverage on mine was ~$50/month.

1. Not all 350 are the same; there's 3 styles.
