Here's a couple of cars that can be debatable. I'll start by posting the cars in question and then answer it myself with bold and underline.

2002 Merc C230 hatch:

And by unisex I mean it's neutral, it's neither definately a guy's car or definately a girl's car...could go either way.

I'd say the Merc is definitely a girl's car because it's a hatchback. The sedan and coupe versions of the C-class are unisex.

The New Beetle is also a girl's car.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The Mercedes (Merc is Mercury! #$!@) is definitely a girl car, but more secretary-ish.

The Beetle is 100% girl car. I laughed when I saw a guy driving one.

The Mini is closest to unisex, but if you're driving one in America, you're probably a girl.

The Merc is more towards to the girlish side to me but not completely.

The Beetle definataly is.

The Mini is neutral.
Spot on.

The Merc is slightly girly. Big butt, some flash.

The Beetle epitomizes “cute”, thus it’s toldly a girl’s car. For Bob’s sake, it has a flower vase.

The Mini is totally a guy’s car – the bulldog face, the gradually declining slope of the roofline, the blackened fenders, the go-kart-stiff ride and the industrial interior design.

Merc and the Beetle are girls cars.

The Mini depends on the model.
If it's a Mini One, it's a chicks car.
Standard Mini; Unisex
Mini S; Guys/Weightlifter Chick Car
JCW Mini: Guys with big *****'s car

great call on the mini, my uncle owns one so i know, the central speedometer is retro and funky at the same time.

The C230 Hatchback: Nein! That is certainly a girls car! I've only seen women driving them, and quite frankly, they are the only ones dumb enough to buy a car as stupid as that.

The New Beetle: It greatly depends on the model and if any kind of modification has been done. The Turbo and Turbo S models of the "first-gen" New Beetles were certainly models targeted more twards males, and I've seen plenty of modified models that pull on the strings of dudes. Unisex is the best answer I have there...

The Mini: Unisex completely, but alike the New Beetle, much of that is going to depend on the model as well. I've only seen women driving the standard Cooper here, but every Cooper S has been driven by a guy. I've always wanted a Cooper S, but then again I drive a Jetta, and I've always been told thats a chick-car...

Mercedes - Girls car.
Volkswagen - Girls car.
Mini - Unisex, with a guys bias for the Cooper S.

Meaning, I would drive anything and Ive seen girls in muscle cars.

It somehow makes them 10 times hotter., both the girls and the cars

Girl car rating (in ovaries, max of 2):

Mercedes C230 Hatch: 2 ovaries
VW Beetle: 4 ovaries (there is never only one girl in a Beetle)
Mini Cooper: 1 ovary, 1 testicle (rating may sway either way, based on color)

No such thing as a girls car because gays would happily drive each of those.

Maybe you would be better off asking if its a manly mans car or not, as girls and the homosexual community dont really have a prejudice against miatas etc.

I've yet to see a girl drive the Hatchback Benz. Beetle, it's the ultimate chick car if there ever was one. Cooper S, mostly guys...girls seem like SUV around here; based on it's previous racing heritage, I'd never call it a chick car (although a manual tranny helps your cause in this case).

There was quite a bunch of over-40 rich guys buying Beetles when they first arrived here in '98, but it's safe to say they all disappeared into the second-hand market in a year or so.

You know what's stupid? I see OLD WHITE GUYS driving Cooper S'. I'm not amused. :ouch:

You’d rather that OLD JAPANESE GUYS drive an English car?

The C230 Hatch - Girls car. A girl I was with for a bit drove one. She was rich and spoiled, and clueless, as was her dad who bought her the car, arguing it could keep up with an MR2 (It was a Kompressor)

New Beatle - Girls car. I've seen a few guys driving turbos, but any car that has flowers for wheels and what not = girls.

Mini Cooper - Unisex, though the S definately goes towards the males. Odd enough though, the only S I've seen autocrossed was owned by a 40 year old woman, and she had a heavy foot.
