Does not count, the game was closed 2 years ago :D Wolfe was my only original contestant and if any date before may 2011 is right, I win. Hell, yeah :D :D
 
I'll say March 11, 2011.

I dont believe for 1 second it's coming out this year. Why? Because here we are, mid-October, release date just a few weeks away, and it was just scraped, with no word on when it will be released. If they knew, they would tell us. Considering there's only a couple months left this year, I dont see it happening.
 
If they where certain they could release before Christmas, it wouldn't take three weeks to give a release date. Unfortunately this is going into 2011. By not being specific they are leaving an out. :grumpy:
 
I guess the 1st or 2nd week of December. Probably the 3rd for the UK. The nearer it gets the Christmas the more it will hurt sales.
 
Based on what we know now, release this year before Christmas, and the November 25th release date that circulated for France I'm going to guess that's going to be the release date. About a month before Christmas and some ten days before Saint-Nicholas (we don't care for some Lapp riding a sleigh through the air and having a name sounding like a rip off of Sinterklaas, no, steam powered boats, Moorish helpers and an old man riding a horse across the roofs is more our thing) seems quite logical to me.

Was thinking the exact same date. Sadly, my gut tells me that's about right.
 
I'm going to go for November 24th 2010. (2 years and 1 day after my initial guess on this thread :dunce: ) That date was thrown round a bit when there was confusion over whether or not the early November release applied to Europe. So I'm thinking something known then has come to the front. Possibly the date chosen by PD but Sony may have wanted them to push for a pre-COD release.

The game has taken this long already, what's another few months? The game WILL come out at some point, but one thing I will not do is sit here and tell myself it will be out by christmas, thats the definition of setting yourself up for failure.

So Im in the process of convincing myself this game is like 5 months away. If it actually comes out sooner then great, but I will not look forward to any date, or get all fired up right before it until I hear for sure the game has gone gold.
 
Based on what I have read so far I will say this year between December 8 to December 20, Sony needs to sell a huge amount of PS3's you know,in the bright side thought it gives me more time to get the steering wheel and the rig.

Nah its simply kinetic's fault,Sony must know already the huge amount of preorders that GT5 generate,if they make the release closer to Christmas they will sell a lot more,its numbers at the end and Sony will not get this change slip away.
 
My guess 26/11/10 in an attempt to move gt5 away from a c.o.d battering.(pun intended)

November 16, what could be so big of a fix it takes more than 3 weeks? A 3 month wait would be ludicrous. Plus they want to beat NFS hot pursuit or be there when it comes out or they're going to lose a bunch more sales.
 
Got to blame that damn 3d feature and move. Well what sucks is it will still be 200 premium cars only. Well see you next year I'm sure it will be next year late January. And by that time we shall see a teaser of Forza 4 and Ps4 teaser , Gt5 is a joke a racing game which took 6 years.
 
Hanukkah 2010 on the 1st or 7th of Dec., could be wright bros day 17th of Dec.
