Let's see who can make the fastest drag car on a budget.... used cars you can use a 30,000 dollar budget..... new cars are 50,000. Also there will be a class for juiced and un juiced (nos or no nos). and there will be a few classes too..... based on the country the car is made in and what type of car it is etc etc etc. what will be needed to compete is as follows.

all to be raced at las vegas drag strip!
1. car
2. time
3. list of mods
4. horse power
5. if it is disputed by me or anyone in the comp you will need to provide me w/ a list of the settings... the exact mods and whether it was run in mt or at and i will see if it is possible. I may also ask for video proof so save your vids! And NOS is ok.... Just as long as you don't exceed the budget set for the class... And no cheats like gamesharks wheelie tricks or anything! on another note.... wheels and oil changes don't count towards the cost... so you can give it an oil change and put wheels on it without it counting against the price. any questions you have can be posted in here or private messaged to me.

the classes are as follows:

1. american muscle
2. Japan-tuner
3. german
4. uk etc etc etc
5. prize cars
6.FWD
7.RWD
8.AWD
9.Mid and rear engine car not based on AWD or RWD or whatever.
10.and there is used and new car
11. I'm also gonna have weekly contests where i tune the car and you gotta get the best time.

(NOTE)
when you send in your times etc tell me what category your posting in....

more to come.... send in any you want and i will place them in the appropriate catagory. Have fun people and be creative!

Enjoy kids!

so did that run 11:11 secs on the quarter? how much hp did it push out?
Not quite, it ran 11.011 seconds on the drag strip. I don't remember the exact hp, must be something around 400. I'll look it up later, I'm off to eat.

damn. i thought it would be more of an all-out thing. but i'll see what i can do,though i don't think i could give video proof since i dont have a capture card or anything like that to transfer to my pc. i'll reply again later, hope it's not too late?

I think he was referring to saving the replay, rather than making a video of it.

ya man your fine... i just mean a replay but prolly won't come to that.... it's only if i or any other poster on here don't believe it.... i hope to keep this thread up for a couple weeks if not infinitely (<----is that how you spell it?)

no worries. your spelling is right. about the replay, well i can always give the settings and whoever's in doubt can give it a go with the current settings. you know what would be more exciting ? we should do a FWD drag series, limited mods and driver aids off. that would be so close to real life, it's not even funny. if i had a capture card for replays i would have posted that here.

ps: i dont know if trying it out would really make it a close call. every driver/player has very different reaction times, therefore there could be a lot of variables. these things make a difference of atleast 1/100th of a second, if not tenths :D

Is it okay to take used cars out? That kind of kills the idea of a limited budget (cause you can get them very cheaply), and it makes the whole thing very complicated (cause you might need to advance dozens of days to get one specific car, whereas normal cars are available all the time).

maybe the used cars should just have a 20,000 budget. that wouldn't be too bad. and have it be a diff section..... used cars and new cars. new cars have the 50,000 budget. used cars have a 20,000 budget

its all good man.... ya maybe fwd and rwd should be added too. i like that...... gimme like a half hour to an hour and i'll be at my house and ill edit the rules.... we're gonna make this thing work!

Just wanted to add (before you get yourself into trouble): if you made a posting and forgot to say something, you can re-edit it with the small "edit"-button in the lower right corner of each of your posts. You should do that, as several posts in a row from one member are not "welcome" in any forum.

Regards
the Interceptor

EDIT:

American:
HPA Motorsports R32: 11.326 secs
Mods: weight reduction stage 1 and 2, race flywheel, race intake/exhaust, triple clutch
Total price: 49,120 cr

... and if that doesn't count because it's not US-american:

American:
Dodge RAM 1500: 11.926 secs
Mods: N/A kit stage 1, NOS (max. power), weight reduction stage 1, semi-race flywheel
Total price: 49,630 cr

technically i think it should. because HPA motorsports is based in Canada, in Surrey, BC, and the car(s) they modify and sell are made here in Canada or the united states. correct me if i'm wrong.

i think used cars should have more than $20K budget. they're old, and new cars usually have more power than old ones. atleast $30K for the used ones :D coz u can;t really get far with $20K i dont think.unless it doesn't include the car price.
