The sound, wi-fi, and everything except the web-cam and microphone worked out-of-the-box without having to do anything when i installed Ubuntu on my laptop(a 5 year old HP Pavilion dv1000) :)

It's a running gag that Linux users get all elitist but simple functions don't work, commonly sound. It's just a joke that plays on the Linux stereotype.

photobucket decreased the image quality, the real deal is much sharper, but you can still see everything right . . when i remember my flickr account ill update the image

Sorry for the late reply... and... I don't remember why I censored the names :dunce:. They are programs for the management of where I work (like government programs, etc.)


Seriously, I don't remember why I have done it.

Another one from Speedhunters. It's nice using my own images from time to time but it gives me inspiration looking at other peoples work. Especially some of the stuff from Speedhunters, top quality stuff.

The reason you don't see the task bar or rocket dock(the thing in the bottom of the first picture) is because I have them both set to only show up on mouse over. I like my desktop looking as clean as possible.

All of these pictures play in a slide show on a 30 second rotation.
