Okay, I use 1) on art, notes and random fun stuff. I use 2) on semi- to official documents -- often accompanied by 3). :)

You're paranoid, Eric! As long as you photoshop it, it can't be copied literally (regarding lithographic authenticity -- Does that even mean anything?).

Copy it all you want. I couldn't care less.

My signature combines my first and last names into one scribbled "symbol." When I got my mortgage they had a big fuss about it, trying to discern exacly what it said.

"Is that your whole first name or just the initial?"

"Is your middle initial in there? We just need to know how to print your name so it matches."

I had one lady at a bank act like I was intentionally messing with her and made me re-write it "legibly." I told her that if I did that it would be worthless because then it wouldn't be my signature. What a b1tch.

Over the years it has evolved into a highly stylized mark. Isn't that what a signature is supposed to be?

Ugh, lousy bank people!

I suppose that's why I "skribble" and I write down my full name underneath the skribble.

Some friend of my mom's was horrible with checks. She would go through and sign her name on all the checks when she got a new book, and in her ledger she would round to the nearest dollar. So a) she has no idea how much money she really has and b) if someone stole her checkbook they could go writing checks all damn day and she would have no recourse because SHE already signed them.

I bet she doesn't know how to change a flat tire and has never mowed a lawn before either.

Yep - But not the first time I've heard (or actually witnessed) some schmuck do just that... How Stoopid can ppl get ? :grumpy:

Mine reads SOlson...

My "S" is cursive, then I enclose it in the "O" and finish off the rest of the name... somewhat like the @ symbol, but with an S.

(No scanner)

Mine is in the Photography section in the "My Drawings" thread. They're somewhere in the corners.

Finally...

Edited my first post with a link instead, but it is also here :

I doodle a lot and usually I will sign my name and then doodle on it making it all fancy and stuff. Perhaps I will do this for you guys today while I'm at work.
