Lettering in the Editor (help) Camera Zoom.

Hello all.

Been using and enjoying the livery editor, but I do have 2 questions which might be possible or that I do not know a work around.

1. When I am creating custom words with the fonts tab, I usually create a letter X, then duplicate say 5x and then use the replace decal
as this seems quicker. However... when i am zoomed in to rotate or adjust a letter, when I click the next letter the camera zooms back out.
It becoming frustrating having to adjust the camera all the time.

I read online that clicking in the left thumb stick is supposed to lock the camera in place, I cannot get this to work. IS there any solution to stop the camera zooming back out when you pick another decal to edit/add?

2. Anyway to group objects? so I can move all my words I have created from single decals?

Thanks in advance.

Andy.

Also no matter how small i make an SVG from illustrator it says wrong format in the decal uploader or bits missing. 15kb is pathetic.

Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure about the zoom issue, but you cannot group things - however it makes almost no sense to make words this way in the first place

You can use this tool to make text decals:

And you can use this tool to make files smaller:

Most common cause for this that you have a bitmap image in the SVG file. If you attach a file that doesn't work here we can probably tell you why. Illustrator files are generally bloated with code that isn't needed, but they should work.
