Hey guys,

Currently I am at level 32, trying to find a way to advance (gradually) to level 40 so I can buy my own Red Bull X2010 (I already have the S.Vettel one) and also to participate in the Nurbugring 24hr.

No matter how many seasonal events, endurance races or just normal races I do, I don't gain much XP. This is starting to frustrate me as sure, I can improve my B-Spec level easily, but when it comes to A-Spec, its frustrating (well, for me anyway)

Can anyone give me any tips on what to do?? I would appreciate this greatly!

Thanks!:)

Like you said, seasonals and endurances are probably your best bet.
But don't try to focus too much on reaching lvl 40, it'll look like an awful lot. Make some sort term goals for yourself.

I agree with making short term goals. The way you are going it will become really boring. I recommend going online between endurance's or a few seasonal races. That way you can enjoy racing against other people to take a break off the grinding.

Personally I did the 4 hours Nurbs endurance a few times once a got to the mid 30s, XP soon mounts up and with that track it's less boring. You have some reasonable opposition too, easy to pick a car that gives a good race or pick a car to guarantee a win (whatever route you want).

Just do B-spec. Grinding away at Endurances manually grinds away at your life:dunce:Just use your Bobs to get you to 40.

Unless you have no B-spec drivers.....:indiff:

Each level is much harder to reach. Just to give you a hint, the amount of XP you earn to level 37 is the amount you need to get from 37 to 40. So at 37, you're halfway there. 39-40 is 7.5 million, I'm about to get that level shortly (only 3.5 million XP left). Good luck.

Why in such a hurry to do the 24-hour Nuerburgring? As for buying Red Bulls, as has been mentioned, getting to 40 B-Spec is much easier.

Well, if you're really only after gaining A-Spec XP, there's really only one race you should do:

Lightweight K Cup: Eifel

This race has the highest XP/min. It takes you 26 of these races to get from level 32 (starting at 0) to level 33. And you can do that in about 1 1/2 hours.

And then it'll simply take you 1.28 times that much to get to the next level. If you really are in such a rush.

If I remember correctly, leveling from 0-24 was good, then it got slow...
With some seasonals and that Vettel challenge, it was doable to get to level ehm.. 32 or so.
After that I stopped playinh GT5 because it took forever to get a level up.

Only reason I'm level 40 is that rubber band trick that doesnt work anymore.
PD really missed the boat between levels 35 and 40. It's just rediculous tedious grinding and I really hope they fix this horrible 'bug' in GT6.

Sounds like you need to start playing MMORPG games if you need to see your E-XP always rise for the game to be fun. If driving and racing is a grind then you definetly bought the wrong game.
Im a 36 aspec with 400 cars. No trades, dupeing, grinding or glitching. Just lots of fun in he drivers seat. Have some friends over and a few beers and go at it.

Sorry for the OT rant. Havent had coffee yet today

Golding the Vettel Challenge is the quickest way if you're good enough. It's very hard though, but do-able.

Just play the game, 40 will come by itself.
That's how I did and now look at me. 👍

I wouldn't even make it a goal. For me, I just set cash goals and then spend it buying and tuning cars. It will come eventually =)

I know what you mean, I'm not feeling ranted at but I disagree (and same time I agree) with you.

If they wanted GT5 to be a racing game, they should not have put in an RPG element with that leveling system.
I see why they put driving licenses in a game (like they did in GT4), but this whole xp-gaining in GT5 is a complete mystery to me.

But I adapted, so I'm handling this GT version as an RPG. And in that GT5-RPG I want to level.
And I think they made a very big mistake in not putting any content in the game after level.. well 32. Ok you get a few more Endurance Races unlocked but come on, the amount of effort you have to put in that last part of the game to unlock yet another 24h race is rediculous.

I played Final Fantasy 11, I always thought that was a grinding game but seriously GT5 has matched that.

ps: I'm not hating GT5, I really like GT5, bought it the day it came out and am still playing even though I platinummed it months ago.
My point is: if they put RPG elements into a racing game, they should be reaaally sure that they don't mess up and forget to put in content to actually be able to level up.

Well i guess im in no rush for level 40, ive just set a goal to reach level 34 (as I am at the start of level 33) so hopefully thats a little more realistic:)

The European championship is good for both exp and cash verses time spent..........which is the only way I've found. I've read about some rubber band cheat but glad its not working anymore lol should only be achieved on merit. The other race I found good for levelling up was the 4hr Nurburg At your stage it should jump quite dramatically
