Level 40 Achieved

Was wondering if anyone else was as disappointed as me when, on getting to Level 40 on A-Spec, all I got was a trophy for Excellent Driver. No bonus, no car or any prize. Felt a little let down.
I'm half way between 39 and 40 on B-Spec. Am I in for a similar disappointment on getting 40 on that??
 
You will be equally dissapointed with B-Spec too, but you do get an Excellent Manager Trophy. :dopey:
 
Bit of a let down isn't it?...No pot of gold at the end of that rainbow!...:grumpy: 👎

Well, yeah.
But I got that after getting Platinum.
"Meeh this is it? Is this really worth all the time spent?" were my thoughts.

I am confused a little here. How did you get the platinum before you reached level 40. As there are 2 races you cannot enter untill you hit level 40, 1 in A-spec and 1 in B-spec and both carry a trophy. ??

You can do either all of A-Spec or all of B-Spec and you will get the trophies for completing the endurance races etc.

You totally missed the point. He got platinum before reaching level 40 HOW and then when at level 40 he received the trophy for Excellent Driver. As there are 2 events that dont open till you reach level 40 both the 24hr nurburgring races. So how did he achieve platinum before doing these hey.
 
You don't even have to touch A Spec as the gold standard trophy only requires you to do either A or B Spec but to get platinum you must gain all trophies anyway so unless he wrote it wrong and was suppose to write that he got the Level 40 A Spec and then the platinum straight after.

You didn't get what I was saying.
I said I got the same feeling of "meeh" but I got it (the feeling) when I got Platinum, instead of level 40.

And I didn't get Platinum before hitting 40, of course. ;)
 
Ahah ya it was something I was so happy to achieve and than all the fun died. Got nothing special and now everything I do is pointless since I can not go up.

Surely it's only pointless from now on if you don't like racing?

BIG anti-climax and that's why I'm going no further than level 38 on B-spec.
 
If you love driving the level system is pretty secondary to the thrill of the drive.
Sure it was great to hit 40 but if I was a trophy collector I'm guessing that getting the platinum would the ultimate feeling of satisfaction.

If you love the game 40 will come along eventually but getting platinum is going to take a little more than dedication to reach. Congrats to those who have the ability to do it. :) 👍

Yup, I got platinum but I haven't finished the game. Just need to do 24 hours of Nurburgring (A-spec and doing it now). Not easy to get platinum, especially grinding through B-spec and leveling up B-spec "bob" to the highest peak of his career!! Those two trophy accomplishments really does take a lot out of you!!
 
You get the mental achivement of winning all the races and perservering to the top level and... oh, who am I kidding, its a total letdown for getting nothing but a trophy.
 
Consider the ease of reaching level 40, though. It would be more impressive if reaching level 40 required finishing every race in addition to meeting the experience requirement, but frankly not that much more impressive. Maxing out experience only requires exactly that, maxing out experience. No disrespect to the OP, of course, I'm simply putting in my $.02.
 
I am 40 A spec and have not done past the suzuka 1000km (don't like doing endurances by myself). can't see myself getting platinum lol also can only bronze vettel challenge haha

I'm sort of the same I only got 24h endurance races on A Spec left but I have folded everything, except the dam Vettel challenges, gold Suzuka and bronze other two.

Well I still play to tune cars and got into other things like drift and drag to keep it fun, but it's so disappointing everything else. Like doing aspec or seasonal events and and seeing so many points everyone gets I get none. They should give you something else other than points like paints or something instead if you max leveled.
