StarLight Garage suggests automobile gems to be included in the Gran Turismo Series.
The Japanese one-off Lexus LFA D1GP from 2015 is one of those cars.
This car is prepared for the D1GP season 2015 and is the most expensive pro drift car build to date.

The Lexus LFA was built by OTG Motor Sports via Osaka Toyopet Group which owns many Toyota dealerships in Japan. This explains the ability to source one of these rare cars and the deep pockets needed to race one.
This Lexus LFA will be used by professional drifter, Yoichi Imamura for D1 Grand Prix duty this season.
It is the most expensive OEM car to be built into a professional drift car to date in the world.
Another detail is the "heart transplantation" this car has undergoing, the original factory V10 has been replaced by a TRD NASCAR motor. It makes also the first ever V8 powered Lexus LFA.
