What's up forums.

has anyone else noticed that the LFA for some reason doesn't feel as "stable" or planted as some of the other super cars? The way I feel it is like, the car feels like its on very tall, soft springs that sort of lean about while turning.

Anyone?

If you watch or read reviews of the LFA, the consensus among those who have driven the car is that it is lively and tail happy. Which is why most people (esp. those who love older cars like the F40) find the LFA to be quite refreshing when compared to current crop of supercars. Here's a great mini-review (by Chris Harris who makes those guys from TG look like clowns):

definitely feels like it's lacking downforce, even with a good tune it's awfully bouncing and sometimes will surprise you, one of the few cars that feels like it's always understeering until you hit the threshold then the tail comes out very fast

IF you guys are using RS tires, you'd be pleasantly surprised that little to no camber works better. I find that settings of .4 -.8 work wonders on this car, compared to 1.5 and above. I also find the LFA to handle better with raised RH front and rear, whereas reduced RH would induce far far more instabilities. Very soft Spring rates also seem to handle better. But then again, my tune was for the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I also tuned without a rear wing.

I don't know why there are settings from 0-10 when ever car I tuned, 1.5 of greater gets really dismal results. Unless it's for online purposes, where offline tunes no longer matter.

It is an unstable car.

It's a car that doesn't seem to excel in any way, except for a great exhaust note...

drop it low.
soften the rear a tad.
add about 1.5 camber front and rear.
stiffen the anti rolls if u need to.

it's one of the best for the 500-600 pp range. really.

it's an amazingly lively car, and a total blast to drive. but i wish i could add some aero to it, but you cannot unfortunately.
