LFS: RX-7 help

RRoDzaaah!
Why can't the RX-7 stay on the track? The rear wheels slip out from under me and I spin out into the wall on every turn. I played around with the ratios and I have the final drive at around 5 and the rear slip at 7. Am I just applying too much power when I come out of the turns?

Yes. The car is very prone to power-on oversteer. Go easy on the throttle until you have the car straight again.

Its not like you would know Josh, you dont even Have the car!

The car is tough, I just lay off the gas until I know the car is straight.
 
Well, dumbass, from driving the non-turbo, and from listening to you say that the turbo is harder than the non, I think I'd know.:rolleyes:

I've got a real feel for the non turbo. The non turbo is EXTREMELY easy for me to drive.

The Turbo is still a b!tch.
 
I'm going to skip the non-turbo one this time around.:lol:

Should be pretty funny to watch me attempt to drive around the track....alone.
 
I think I need more help than Viper Zero does...:nervous:

Wasn't it you who hit me, causing me to flip multiple times, up and over the fence?
 
Yall suck hard at tuning, real hard, like a turbo hoover.

I set mine so that it sits as high as possible, suspension is soft and bouncy(dampers are as low as possible, same with anti-roll. Limited slip at 10, gear ratio at 4 I think, super road tires with about 28LBS front and back, camber is max in front, a little in the back, steering is set to max, while the remaining 3 options are as low as possible, and that's about it...

It's fun as hell to drive, I'm good at drifting and doing 2nd gear skids(vrooommm *shift* errrrrr vroooommm) and it's just a blast to drive.

Ohh and my Focus is bounce-o-rific, if you have the older version of the game IM me and we will race.

Ask Josh about how I can drift!

(Josh I know you've seen me mess up drifts a few times.. ahem.. 2MPH drift where I end up flying forward into the tires.. But tell him bout the good stuff!)

He's better than me, that's for damn sure.:P He messed up a few, but nailed quite a few more. I got screenshots of a few nice ones, but they're too big to post, and God knows that if I try to mess with them the quality will turn to ****...:lol:

set it up like that and you can gun it out of corners with some controllable sidestep.
