stingIs anyone gonna get LCS?
So far the game hasn't been as hyped as GTA games before it and I'm just wondering why they would do that.

GTAPSP.comTake Two: PS2 Liberty City Stories Ships "Late April" at "Lower Price"

Take Two have published their financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal 2006 (November, December, January) and with it came a couple of tidbits of Grand Theft Auto news. Firstly, the company put a more specific date on GTA: Liberty City Stories for PS2, stating that it will ship in "Late April", which ties in with yesterday's retail reports.
The company also mentioned that Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories has been the number one selling PSP title in the US every month since its October 2005 release. Hardly surprising.
The company reiterated that the second Grand Theft Auto title coming to PSP later in the year will be "all-new".
Finally, a hint was made towards Rockstar Games' plans for next year.
"For 2007, the company anticipates a strong next generation lineup from Rockstar Games including sequels to several of Rockstar's most successful franchises."
I'll take that as meaning new GTA on next generation platform(s).
Unfortunately, the company was no more elaborate than this in its news for investors. A conference call is being held shortly, and I'll update this post if any new information comes to light following it.

Update: Rockstar Games CEO Paul Eibeler has confirmed that Liberty City Stories will retail for a lower price on PS2 than PSP. This too appears in line with yesterday's retail reports of a rumoured $29.99 price.
Exerpts from GTAPSP.com. That's obviously a US price, meaning the Australian/New Zealand price (for those who are interested) would be around $49.99 at best guess.GTAPSP.comAlright so here's the ticket. A few retailers have been whispering about an email they received this morning from Take 2 explaining that Liberty City Stories' PS2 incarnation is going to ship to stores across North America on Monday, April 17, in preparation for release the following day.

Who says they're not? The next gen GTA game is probably a long while off yet, so what they're just doing is adapting an existing PSP game for PS2 to make a quick buck.Robin 2223hmmmm this is interesting, if its like the same size but with way better stuff (graphics, ai, missions) then it may be a good title (although I would prefer rockstar working on the PS3 gta instead!!!)
Already out? Damn, I feel behind. I might get it, this summer or not at all.Spuds725Well... I got it a few hours ago... still haven't got a chance to play it....anybody else??? How do you like it?? No spoilers please.....

no, the only thing the same is the City, and some of the people.GT4_RuleWon't this be just a remake of the orginal GTA III featuring Liberty City?
Time of DeathI'm getting it this weekend and am really looking forward to trying it out! If anyone's had the chance to play it yet, are the cars the same as GTA3? Also, how do they handle compared to GTA3?
