License S2 - impossible first corner???

Very true, my friend, I remember having nightmares with the S license in GT3. Nowadays in latter releases of the franchise is cake, not only because we got better, but because GT is getting more and more mainstream and they do the licenses easy enough for ANYONE to gold. Skid recovery on licenses? Just WTF

Yep, I spent months and months on those S license lap tests in GT3. Pretty sure I never ended up golding them all. They were TOUGH.
 
When I did this test I managed it the same as the stune vid, must have altered after the update, I might have another go at this next time I play to see if you can't do him on te first turn any more
 
Lol this youtube video link demontrates AI as if slowed down by some cheatcode I am not aware of! I admit I havent touched S2 challenges prior 1.06 patch, But as of 1.06, this test was by far the most difficult to gold. I won this race by reaching the leader at the very last chicane prior to the famous rollover death ramp. Nudge his side and cut him off to victory. With a wheel and all assists off.

Note, you will pass the 2 last cars, prior top of hill tunnel, trick is not to accellerate hard at the very beggining, and get a clean line of accelleration and traction to the top. (with a mild delayed start) You will fly by the last two cars by then, on your way up to the first tunnel left turn. also note, after 100 restarts, and successful entry to the top tunnel, the rest gets even harder! haha.
 
I just re ran the test and yes the R390 is slightly faster at the beginning but you can take him on the right apex of the hill immediately after the first turn. I still ended up in the same position at the same parts of the lap so don't see it as being really any easier apart from you can now be so aggressive and smack into opponents, I notice that wall collisions are still instant DQ
