Lightroom problems

When I try to edit in Lightroom, my computer runs slow. When I was editing at one point, it said that there is not enough memory. I have 2GB of ram. Is that the problem? Not enough ram? My graphics card is 9800GT which, I think, is more than enough just for editing photos. Any tips on how I can make Lightroom smoother?

Sounds like you either have to many background processes running, or you may need to run a virus/spyware scan. You have enough memory your system should not slow down much, but I would still add more memory if I were you .

How many pics do you have in your Lightroom catalog? And which processor do you use? Which Lightroom version?

I think the lastest versions of Lightroom need at least 4gb to run smoothly.
