The zr1 vette with all upgrades can handle both tracks.. You need to set gear at 236, and put all down force on the front... Car turns great and will fly... On indy, with my so so driving i turn laps in the 42 sec range and total time of about 3 min 35 sec... This car can also be used in the usa tracks..
You can run the indy track there and make 117,000 credits in 3 mins and 35 sec... Also you earn 4440 points...
I run it 5 times in a row, and earn almost 600,000 credits, in less that 25 mins.

ZR1 RM with all mods cleared this pretty easy for me as well. won by 6 seconds i think and didn't drive perfect.

Didn't adjust it all that much either, just full downforce, a few ticks down on ride height and a few clicks up on spring rate.

EDIT: PS, soft tires too. i suppose that's a given, but make sure you've got them. PS#2, as a native of Indianapolis and a lover of everything IMS i absolutely love that this is the grind race of choice in GT5. If only they had an IndyCar licence like was mistakenly reported last year.

I feel like I used the Furai. You give up some speed on the banking but I found it made it up on the infield section.

I beat A-Spec "Like the Wind" with a fully-tuned Pagani Zonda R (a prize car from B-Spec). The Daytona road course race requires a little finesse in driving, as the car can be a little touchy, but it's not that bad.

I did the daytona road course yesterday in the furai after B-specing all day and surprised myself by winning first time. The second race however took me about 5 tries to do and when I won I received the "within one hundredth" trophy so that explains it all really. If I can do it anyone can 👍
P.S, A.I are bullies:sly:

I used a Veyron. With 1234 HP, grant you, but I still won by quite a bit. Use the Veyron at Daytona, Since you don't have to brake into every turn on the straights, like in Indy.

I would recommend to anyone to do some B spec races as the prize cars from some races are easy winners, B spec miata, you will need as new miata /mx5 as you can get the newer the better & not J spec as generally they have less power and tune it to death
or trade someone for an X1 or the ford gt lm spec II.

Tried for a long time to beat the Daytona track with the Furai (which easily won the Indy oval race), but kept getting bumped off the track by the AI. So frustrating!

Decided to change it up and use the ZR1 RM. Much more controlled (chassis reinforcement upgrade makes a big difference) and after a few tries to get used to the course with the ZR1 finally got gold.
