So help me out here...I thought I heard a while back that Chester was out of the band?! So is he in or not? Is there any links to a single yet? I got word that it was going to be released in March but hadn't heard music yet.

I am a big LP fan. They put on one of the best live shows that anyone could see. Lots of energy and entertainment.

EDIT: Nevermind I found it all by myself. And I think this song is fantastic!!! Usually, new songs seem to grow on me but this one hits me right from the start. The wait was worth it.



After hunting around youtube for stuff I started getting all pumped up. I wanted to post this vid because It just might be the one of the greatest songs ever to hear live. I got goose bumps just watching the crowd jump.

Shame they've removed that first vid already, was looking forward to hearing that.
 
That link didn't last long. I'll see if I can replace it with a clip of the song that was still up yesterday afternoon.

You mean there's 2 sides or perhaps more, to a spectrum! OMG In my 30+ years on this earth I never knew that, thanks for letting me know 👍

So does that mean I can voice MY OWN opinions back at you as often as I like? or do you have to get last word?

I am not biased and you are indeed entitled to your opinion, so why not start your own thread about how Linkin Park suck?

I need to check out the rest of the cd. I'm not entirely impressed with the single, but the rest of the cd may be different. Chester looks like a gay biker in the video for What I've done. :lol:

Meteora - Brilliant follow on from Hybrid Theory

Collision Course - Biggest load of trash EV4R!

I heard LP's new single while in a pub and I quite liked it, though you can't judge an album by one song. I heard they were taking it in a totally different direction from HT and Meteora and that worries me as those two were great albums..... and after reading ExigeExvel's comment, I'm quite hesitent.
 
yeh ill admit my mind has changed.

what ive done is a 7/10 bu the rest are 4's 5's and 6's.
Excet for valentines day andin pices, those two are good.

I think theyre gonna have to bust another one out in the next year or so to keep their rep up
 
Ok, so I listened to the whole cd and I will say that it's not as bad as everyone is making it out to. The cd sounds completely different than anything they've done before, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Although, if they are gonna stay in the direction they are going, they definately need some work.
 
I think it's pretty damn good! about 6 of the songs on the album are great, I guess the rest will grow on me when I listen to them more :)

Little things give you away is the stand out track for me atm 👍

I'm only about halfway through the album and so far only What I've Done and No More Sorrow sound like Linkin Park (and the only two I like so far). I guess i'm just not going for their new sound. I loved Hybrid Theory and Meteora though.
 
I really cannot make my mind up now. The songs have started growing on me, and it has come to my realizaition that their classics like Numb and In The End have fantastic videos. Imaging the songs with videos that suit them coming out soon.

So I bought this yesterday, I've always kinda liked Linkin Park and I had a $15 Best Buy gift card.

Wow...I hate it, most of the songs are about how depressing life is and the they try to be political in another. I hate political music, and I really hate depressing life music. Not to mention it's either screaming or crappy rap. I want to know what happen to the old Linkin Park who didn't always scream, who only had a few depressing life songs, and didn't say f@#$ this and f@$% that in all of their songs...I don't care about swearing in music but sometimes it's needless.

Needless to say the CD got thrown on to the pile of CD's on my shelf that I can't bring myself to listen to anymore.

Some people might like the CD and that's cool, but it's by no means the kind of music I like. I do like the one song that's on the radio right now, but all the others are, in my opinion, garbage.
