But that is the game data file (different from game save file), which before you said you didn't delete? :odd:

Unless something changed, if you delete the game data file for LBP, it deletes all the DLC, not just individual ones... or maybe that's no longer the case?

I know last year just to see what happens, I deleted the game data file and it deleted all my DLC. There was no option to delete just one DLC pack.

I have not checked since then, but unless LBP now creates multiple game data files for each DLC in the game data utility folder, then deleting the LBP game data file would delete everything you have downloaded to it.
 
You're right but I had downloaded those the free costume packs at that point. It did have them in one file so I misspoke. But it did have two DLC files one PAL and one NA. I don't think it will allow you to have two NA or two PAL though.

I am curious, will Sackboy act sluggish after he comes out of the water with all his stuffing soaked?
 
Has anyone got the LittleBigPlanet soundtrack? I just noticed it's on the iTunes store for $16.99AU. I'd totally buy it, but I'd feel bad as I've already been shopping on iTunes today.
 
I am dying for the water pack to be released, in fact I'm building a level right now that could incorporate water very nicely. :)

Just a few questions, does anybody know if the water must be spread out over the entire level, or if you can put in specific locations e.g. a pool? And will the depth be adjustable? Sorry for all the questions, just curious :D
 
Been renting this game for quite some time now, as it is truly one of my favourite games out there currently. My brother finally took the plunge and decided to buy the game (after renting it for almost 2 months!) looking forward to playing it a bit more often. Heck, I might even try and create my own level. :)

No one knows yet. All they did was say it was coming so far. So until someone gets into the beta we won't have a clue. And even then they may be under an NDA.

No. And the fact that it has a beta test tells me it is still a few months away at least.
 
I gotcha, I was hoping that maybe in it will be out around Christmas time.
 
I just got back from Gamestop and I wound up getting a used copy LBP, I haven't played it yet but I'm looking forward to it, hopefully I'll end up meeting some of you online.:)
 
Are you using your GTPLoon name or something else? I have trouble connecting to others online in LBP, maybe if we're in the same state it might actually pan out?
 
If you see me on, shoot me a message. I won't guarantee that I'll be able t play, but somewhere along the line timing might work out.

Have any of you guys played a level called The Devils Edge by Nevada? It's got to be one of the most difficult levels I've played. This blog gives a nice description of it (also a couple of screenshots). It's an amazing looking level too, hard to believe it's a user created one.
 
I haven't been playing LBP lately ( NFS :Shift been taking most of my time) but after checking out that link I will definitely check out that level. Thanks for the heads up

i eased off lbp but now with the beta i'm right back in it ;-)
 
Has anybody bought the game of year edition? I know it says that you get $30 worth of free content. But isn't that you LBP with the DLC added or are there some other unreleased levels included?

From what I have heard, the only DLC only levels are from the MGS pack. Everything else is the costumes. The other extra levels are the award winning user created stuff that you could find on your own.
