I've recently picked up GT6 and I now realize it's A LOT harder to earn money than it is in other racing games such as Forza.

I know I can't do any sort of money glitch because of the new patches and such, but I need money to buy a new car for all these different events I'm doing in the National B races.

Anyone got a good money making method so I can keep playing? :D

I'm at 200% Log-in bonus so I'm getting a fair bit out of any race I do, and thank you very much Dragonwhisky that thread will be sure to help me out :)

Also coming first in the Red Bull X2014 Standard Championship is A LOT easier said than done.

Turn ON Auto Trans
Turn ON SRF (Spin Recovery Force)
Use Traction Control 1
Use Racing Soft Tyres
Use every Short cut you can on every track
Hold the throttle flat and just use the brake (unless tight hairpin corner)
Any car in you way just smash them off the track

In other words, be just like a lot of online race lobbies ;-)

Once you get used to these ridiculous cars and how they defy physics, you'll win every race every time.

The downside is you'll need to get used the more realistic cars again.

Unfortunately Jbaffoh is right - if I have been grinding on the Red Bull Championship it takes me quite a while to get used to normal cars and tyres again.

Some people also have concerns about this championship causing wear on their steering wheels because the forces are so exaggerated and therefore they do this championship with a hand controller - unfortunately I'm rubbish with a hand controller so I will never be able to do this championship with one.

Redbull series aside, no mention of the seasonal/GT academy events? Quick lap on the GT:A event and there you go, 700,000 credits.

Personally I do Like the wind race 3 at Special Stage Route X, under 4 minutes - 140,000 credits on 200% bonus (creating 300 mph cars provides another way to modify the cars in your garage)

It's kind of a one shot deal though. Having said that, I just got my 1.2m for the Bathurst round :D

I'm actually surprised people need to find ways to get money in GT6. In another thread I'm posting a career mode where I don't repeat any races or buy any cars. This is where I got to just using the starter Honda Fit - I've actually doubled since then just using the prize Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI TME (except one kart series):

A million in two hours with just the starter car...

Had that concern from the beginning of GT5 and avoided the Redbulls for that reason in GT5 and 6. My DFGT lasted 2+ years and was like new despite a lot of use, when I upgraded to the G27.

First I've heard of the concern. I've been grinding the Red Bull Standard events in GT6 since they became available and my 3-and-a-half-year-old DFGT is still in great shape. Frankly, rally driving feels like it's a lot harder on the wheel than the Red Bull cars.
