Liveries too ugly to buy. "Dell" for example.

What cars do you refuse to buy, despite their performance, due to the livery or sponsor logos?

I for one, love the BMW V12 LMR Race Car ‘99 but will not buy it because of the big huge "Dell" logos. More than being an Apple fan boy (since 1984) I just find the logo painfully simplistic and blah for such a beautiful car.

The Hugo boss decal on the 190e evolution II race car makes me want to buy it just because it says BOSS in huge letters. Plus its a Benz.

Can't think of anything I wouldn't buy due to that.

I wouldn't buy the Chapparal 2J as it appears to be advertising shoes in a roundabout way.

(Has all the styling finesse of a shoe box)

Then there's that little Mugen Civic, which is a great car, but the graphics are so jaggy it even annoys me when I'm driving from the bumper cam.

RX8 LM Racecar (glad I bought it, despite it being hideous and excessively pixelated)
Falken GT-R (same story)
Falken BP RX7 (still haven't bought it... it's too ugly)
Option Stream Z (livery designed by a 7 year old)

The more simplist it is, the more it is visible, which is the purpose of a good logo. I like streamlined liveries, hence this one.

Awful liveries imo: Blitz ER34 '07, HKS CT230R, Nissan R390 race car

If you search images of the REAL Option Z you will find it's not as bad as it is in GT5

It's the logo that I find too simplistic. Yes, spartan is best for liveries, I agree. But the Dell logo is just plain bad and therefore it ruins the beauty of the car for me.

Does the BMW V12 LMR Race Car ‘99 exist without it in GT5?

Isn't the Apple logo even more simplified! For the DELL logo to be as simple it'd just be the letter D.

Sorry, to say that, because I really like the 2010 CAMARO and currently have two in GT5, but the RM-livery is epic fail !! :yuck:

Opera Honda S2000 '04

Got this from the S-Licence and was quite repulsed by what my hard work got me!:yuck: Oh well, at least I didn't pay for it, and I bet it drives OK so I shouldn't complain TOO much...

I saw that car up close after Daijiro rolled it at the Silver State Classic.

The Asparadrink RX7s are the ugliest to me but that didn't stop me from buying them up.
